Role Overview:

We are looking for a highly motivated, organized, AI-fluent and detail-driven Sr. Marketing Manager to fuel our marketing growth engine. In this role, you will sit at the intersection of demand generation, event execution, and content amplification and you will know how to use AI to automate tasks, manage projects and make your workflow efficient. You will build and scale marketing campaigns inside HubSpot, manage the logistics of our field marketing and industry events, collaborate with Marketing and RevOps on demand generation campaigns and support our social media channels to ensure DISQO’s market presence remains vibrant and impactful.

The ideal candidate is a self-starter with well-rounded marketing experience and strong experience in both events and social, as well as with demand generation campaign management. Having an analytical, data-first mindset with exceptional execution, project management and AI skills is desired. If you are energized by translating campaign ideas into structured workflows, running flawless events, and working on a strong, growth oriented marketing team where you have the chance to grow and expand both your marketing and AI experience, we want you to join us.

What you will do:

    Field Marketing & Event Support
  • Flawless Event Support: Work closely with the marketing and sales teams on creating events and customer experiences that are true to the DISQO brand. Own the events plan and operational logistics for industry trade shows, conferences, webinars, and field marketing events—managing events ideation, booth and experience prep, collateral shipping and setup and sales/attendee management.

  • Vendor & Contract Management: Source and coordinate with outside event partners and work hand-in-hand with the creative team to manage print vendors and promotional merchandise suppliers to stay on budget and on schedule.

  • Lead Capture & Follow-Up: Build pre- and post-event communication workflows to guarantee event-sourced leads are captured and routed instantly to Sales teams.

  • Demand Generation & HubSpot Operations
  • Build Campaigns End-to-End: Set up, launch, and optimize email nurturing, lead scoring, and automated workflows within HubSpot to fuel our sales funnel with Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs).

  • Audience Segmentation: Build and maintain targeted list segmentations to customize messaging for different buyer personas across brands, agencies, and publishers.

  • Data Integrity & Reporting: Partner with Sales/Rev Ops to clean and track inbound leads, monitor conversion rates, and build HubSpot performance dashboards.

  • Social Content & Brand Support

  • Curate Social Channels: Draft, schedule, and amplify engaging content across DISQO’s corporate social media accounts (LinkedIn, X, etc.) to grow brand awareness and engagement.

  • Cross-Functional Copywriting: Partner with Communications and Product Marketing to draft promotional event copy, social posts, newsletter content, and campaign landing pages.

  • AI Workflow Modernization

  • Leverage Generative AI: Proactively integrate AI tools (e.g., Gemini, ChatGPT, Claude) to accelerate project management, tasks and event organization, to craft and manage social posts, generate event nurture campaign drafts and subject lines, and analyze event lead data. Understanding demand gen campaign automation for inbound and outbound marketing and reporting is desirable.

  • Process Automation: Build automated workflows to remove operational bottlenecks and speed up project management as well as campaign nurture flows and asset production.

What you bring to the role:

  • 4–6 years of experience in B2B marketing, specializing in demand generation, field marketing, or integrated marketing campaigns.

  • Event Logistics Ninja: Proven experience executing high-quality virtual webinars and physical field events, with a keen eye for operational details and timelines.

  • HubSpot Expert: Hands-on proficiency with HubSpot (automation, email building, forms, tracking) and CRM tools (Salesforce.com).

  • Social & Copywriting Skills: Strong writing skills with experience managing professional social media profiles and producing engaging short-form copy.

  • Self-Directed IC Mindset: Comfort operating autonomously in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment.

  • AI Champion: Passion and demonstrated experience with evaluating, testing, and adopting AI-driven platforms to streamline daily tasks and maximize productivity.

  • Experience in the AdTech, MarTech, or media measurement industries.

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.

Nice to haves:

  • Familiarity with design and collaboration software such as Asana, Canva, Figma, and Slack.

  • Project Management specialization

What you need to know about the Boston Tech Scene

Boston is a powerhouse for technology innovation thanks to world-class research universities like MIT and Harvard and a robust pipeline of venture capital investment. Host to the first telephone call and one of the first general-purpose computers ever put into use, Boston is now a hub for biotechnology, robotics and artificial intelligence — though it’s also home to several B2B software giants. So it’s no surprise that the city consistently ranks among the greatest startup ecosystems in the world.

Key Facts About Boston Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 269,000; 9.4% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Thermo Fisher Scientific, Toast, Klaviyo, HubSpot, DraftKings
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, biotechnology, robotics, software, aerospace
  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Summit Partners, Volition Capital, Bain Capital Ventures, MassVentures, Highland Capital Partners
  • Research Centers and Universities: MIT, Harvard University, Boston College, Tufts University, Boston University, Northeastern University, Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, National Bureau of Economic Research, Broad Institute, Lowell Center for Space Science & Technology, National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories
