The Impact of a Sr. Manager Security Engineering at Coupa:
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Sr. Manager, Fraud Detection and Security Engineering to lead our efforts in combating fraudulent activities and enhancing the security of our platforms. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in fraud prevention, data analysis, and engineering leadership. This role will involve building and leading a team of talented engineers and analysts, developing cutting-edge fraud detection systems, and collaborating cross-functionally to implement effective solutions.
What You'll Do:
- Lead, mentor, and grow a team of fraud detection engineers and analysts. Lead, mentor and manage a team of identity engineers in an Okta environment.
- Develop the strategy around access management for our cloud environments. , implement strategies for proactive fraud detection and prevention.
- Analyze large datasets to identify emerging fraud patterns and vulnerabilities. Collaborate with product, legal, and operations teams to integrate fraud prevention measures into new and existing features.
- Manage incident response for fraudulent activities, ensuring timely investigation and mitigation. Stay up-to-date with industry best practices, emerging fraud trends, and new technologies.
- Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to fraud detection effectiveness and team performance.
- Prepare and present reports on fraud trends, system performance, and team initiatives to senior leadership.
What You Will Bring to Coupa:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IAM Program Management, IT and/or Security engineering roles.
- 2-3 years of experience supporting and implementing Privilege Access Management solutions
- 2 years of experience in a leadership or management role.
- Strong understanding of various fraud types and prevention techniques (e.g., account takeover, payment fraud).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Experience with machine learning and predictive modeling for fraud detection. Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP). Certifications in Okta, fraud examination, identity solutions or risk management.
