What we need:

Reporting directly to the Director of Product Marketing, the Commercial Medical, Health & Wellness Sr. Manager, Marketing Strategy role is responsible for developing and executing various product marketing strategies. This role will collaborate directly with business leaders in product management, marketing, sales, and other departments to deliver go-to-market strategies for key Commercial Medical, Health & Wellness initiatives that align with our corporate strategy and goals. It will also support relevant offerings launched by Blue Cross, in partnership with external vendors. This role will need to demonstrate product marketing effectiveness against key performance indicators. Being successful in this role is highly dependent on the person’s ability to think strategically, build relationships, deliver results on time, and to influence positive outcomes.

This position is eligible for our Flex persona.

Your Day to Day:

  • Provide product marketing thought leadership, develop product marketing strategies, further strengthen the current market positioning, and turn enterprise strategies into successful go-to-market campaigns.
  • Help drive Commercial Medical, Health & Wellness product(s) adoption, customer engagement, and member/account satisfaction by understanding customers’ needs/preferences and translating them into actionable marketing insights.
  • Deliver timely Commercial Medical, Health & Wellness communications to our sales, broker, account, and member audiences as well as maintain various marketing collateral, assets, etc.
  • Partner with Product, Marketing, Sales, and Digital teams to ensure clear and consistent messaging on product features, benefits, value propositions, etc. based on targeted audiences/segments.
  • Manage the creative process and business approval for Commercial Medical, Health & Wellness marketing assets and other related communications.

We’re Looking for:

  • Strong product marketing, account management, and project management background with strategic decision-making skills grounded in facts and data.
  • Excellent oral, writing, communication, and presentation skills for multiple management level as well as being self-directed with excellent planning, organizational, problem solving, and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail, stakeholder management, experience leading cross functional teams while handling multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Healthcare experience is required.
  • Experience with WorkFront and Adobe Creative Cloud, a plus.

What You Bring:

  • Bachelors or Master’s in Marketing; Relevant graduate degree and/or professional credential preferred
  • Seasoned professional with at least 10+ years of B2C and B2B2C marketing experience

Salary Range: $117,360.00 - $143,440.00


The job posting range is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting.  We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future.  An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, and business or organizational needs and affordability.

This job is also eligible for variable pay.
