Job Description:

The Role

As a Senior Manager in Consumer Strategy & Segment Marketing (CSSM) you blend business analysis and marketing expertise with a passion for uncovering consumer insights. Working collaboratively within a cross-functional team and in close partnership with your Manager/Team Lead, you will use your expertise to support the development of actionable consumer marketing strategies that differentiate Fidelity offerings in the market and drive meaningful consumer value and business outcomes. One key deliverable of this role is the strategic marketing brief that guides channel, messaging and activation activities.

Your initial work will be supporting Fidelity’s crypto team in three key areas: 1) Contributing to go-to-market efforts in support of new products and features; 2) Driving strategy for crypto education content and programs; 3) Partner with product teams on new offerings to provide customer insight/perspective, influence user experience, and craft messaging.

You will report to a Vice President or Team leader who oversees a team of 5-10 other CSSM Associates.

The Expertise and Skills You Bring

  • BA/BS required    

  • 8+ years of relevant marketing/management/strategy experience

  • Financial services experience preferred 

  • Cryptocurrency/blockchain experience preferred, but interest in cryptocurrency/blockchain is required

  • Experience contributing to the development of marketing strategies across customer acquisition and client development; segmentation development, design target development; digital experience and customer journey mapping 

  • Experience utilizing consumer research and deriving actionable consumer insights research and data analysis to inform the development of new hypotheses, opportunity exploration, business case development, differentiated marketing strategies, and program execution 

  • Able to deliver concise written and verbal communications grounded in data and insights to influence decision-making

  • Contribute to story-telling using qualitative and quantitative data, market trends, business insights and other inputs in a cohesive narrative to inform marketing strategy development  

  • Ability to successfully collaborate with and influence multiple business and marketing stakeholders at different levels to develop marketing strategies and align on implementation plans

  • Intellectually curious and appreciate learning new skills and capabilities 

  • Proactive: able to navigate ambiguity and take action with consultation and guidance from your Team Lead to drive results across teams and lines of business. Contributes to identification of new opportunities and ideas with data-driven insights and recommendations   

The Team

The Consumer Strategy & Segment Marketing Team (CSSM) is part of the Marketing & Social Platforms domain. The team works across business and marketing and partners closely with other commercialization functions and teams at all stages of the product lifecycle (new offerings à scaled solutions) and in service of customer acquisition and client development objectives.  At our core, we represent the voice of the customer and are focused on helping Fidelity offer the right products to the right customers with differentiated value propositions and positioning to drive commercial success.

Most roles at Fidelity are Hybrid, requiring associates to work onsite every other week (all business days, M-F) in a Fidelity office. This does not apply to Remote or fully Onsite roles.
