Position Overview

The Senior Learning Specialist (Enterprise Learning & Development) supports global onboarding and learning initiatives, combining administrative excellence with analytical capabilities. This role collaborates across People & Culture, Enterprise Learning & Development (ELD), and People & Purpose to deliver impactful learning experiences and drive continuous improvement. The Sr. Learning Specialist will engage with cross-functional teams and peers in the Global Operations team to deliver on shared goals. This role requires a solution-oriented mindset, strong proficiency in LMS/HCM tooling, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a global environment.

Key Responsibilities 

Partner with global and regional teams (P&C, ELD, People & Purpose, etc.) to ensure alignment and effective delivery of L&D initiatives. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:  

  • Learning Administration/Logistics/Reporting: Oversee all logistics for learning sessions, including scheduling, calendar invites, participant communications, in-person meeting logistics and virtual session production (e.g., Zoom, breakout rooms, polls, materials).  

  • Monitor and support activities leading to accurate records of training assignments, completions, and feedback 

  • Analyze data on existing Enterprise Learning and Development programs and support communications and follow up activities 

  • Participate in L&D program budget planning and ensures programs adhere to budgetary limits.  

  • Draft program marketing and communication materials 

  • Support Instructional Designers with program design 

  • Support project management activities around key programs and initiatives 

  • Prepare reports on L&D programs, measuring performance against goals and recommending improvements as needed.  

  • Administer assessments (e.g., DiSC, LVI 360), digital badging, Menti and Culture Amp polls and other evaluation tools. 

  • Support onboarding and learning program data requests, leveraging Workday reporting to identify trends and opportunities for improvement 

  • Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and user experience, contributing to optimization of HCM processes. 

  • Generate and maintain internal SOPs to support process documentation and potential compliance/audit needs.  

  • Collaborate with peers and P&C team members on shared projects and stretch assignments. 

  • Other related duties as assigned.  

Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business or related field. 

  • 3+ years of experience in Learning & Development, onboarding, or HR operations. 

  • Experience with learning management systems (e.g., Workday Learning), virtual facilitation tools (e.g., Zoom), and data analysis/reporting tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI). 

  • Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills. 

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a global, matrixed environment. 

  • Proficiency in Canva, Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Articulate Storyline 360, MS Planner and digital badging platforms is a plus. 

  • Experience in process improvement and problem solving within HR or shared services environments. 

  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and present data trends using Excel and other tools. 

  • Prior experience supporting global or multi-national environments preferred. 

Other Requirements 

  • May require up to 20% travel to U.S. sites 

  • May require occasional schedule changes outside standard business hours to support global programs. 

  • Hybrid role with the majority of time spent working virtually and periodic days in the local Zelis office or traveling 

  • Shift timings: 8:30-5:00pm EST

Location and Workplace Flexibility

We have offices in Atlanta GA, Boston MA, Morristown NJ, Plano TX, St. Louis MO, St. Petersburg FL, and Hyderabad, India. We foster a hybrid and remote friendly culture, and all our employee's work locations are based on the needs of the position and determined by the Leadership team. In-office work and activities, if applicable, vary based on the work and team objectives in accordance with Company policies.

Base Salary Range

$86,000.00 - $109,250.00

At Zelis we are committed to providing fair and equitable compensation packages. The base salary range allows us to make an offer that considers multiple individualized factors, including experience, education, qualifications, as well as job-related and industry-related knowledge and skills, etc. Base pay is just one part of our Total Rewards package, which may also include discretionary bonus plans, commissions, or other incentives depending on the role.
