What You'll Do:
- Partner with technology and product teams to drive improvement in systems, tools, and processes.
- Successfully manage complex suppliers and influence them to improve supply chain performance guided by Chewy's strategic objectives.
- Lead multiple, large cross-functional projects and working groups.
- Analyze multiple, large data sets to identify actionable insights that drive improvement across Chewy's broader Instock organization.
- Develop project white papers or project plans; create larger written documents that require input from multiple cross-functional contributors.
- Develop scalable solutions for your business that have application across Chewy's broader Instock organization while defining new cross-functional processes.
- Influence and negotiate with others to achieve win-win outcomes; effectively interact with cross-organizational leadership using written and verbal communication.
- Help to design, validate, and institutionalize best practices within the Instock organization.
What You'll Need:
- 6+ years of relevant experience in supply chain or an advanced degree in a related field (General Management, Finance, Supply Chain, Business Administration, Economics, Engineering).
- Strong written, verbal, analytical, and problem-solving skills, and experience with statistical modeling.
- Proven experience and understanding of purchasing, forecasting, and inventory management.
- Solid analytical toolkit including advanced proficiency with Excel and SQL.
- Track record of taking ownership and delivering results in a data-driven environment.
A Plus if You Have:
- Ecommerce experience
- Tableau, R, Python, or KNIME experience
- Experience with traditional Project Management
- Lean/Six Sigma experience
