The focus of the Senior Financial Analyst is to ensure our financial reporting is complete, accurate and timely.  This position is also responsible to provide analysis to help upper management make appropriate business decisions.  Works independently with minimal direction. Supports complex cost and profit centers.
Position Responsibilities & Essential functions:

  • Building and maintaining excel-based SmartView templates, standard excel-based reporting templates and ad-hoc analyses
  • Work cross-functionally with Corporate FP&A, Accounting, Field Finance and other organizations to gather, analyze, and present data
  • Maintain finance calendar
  • Monthly forecasting; prepare consolidating forecast, plan and actual reports at the total North America level for review by FP&A management in preparation for the team to report to senior leadership
  • Perform sense checks on business results
  • Research monthly variances to plan, forecast and prior year, including running GL Wand reports to access accounting data
  • Perform ad hoc modeling and analysis, as needed
  • Strategic focus
  • Project Implementation and Management
  • Planning/Budgeting – Revenue /Expense
  • Writing Action Proposals
  • Developing Business partnerships with other departments
  • Presentation preparation – Quarterly review, Op Plan, etc.
  • Train and develop less experienced analysts

Qualifications & Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5 – 8 years’ experience in financial analysis, forecasting, and accounting
  • Strong ability in:
  • Excel
  • Financial Modeling
  • Analytical skills
  • Budgeting for Revenue and Expense
  • Reporting
  • Communication
  • Multi Task

Preferred Attributes & Qualifications:
Master’s Degree

Compensation: $90,000 - $105,000

CDK Global is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. Compensation packages are based on several factors, including but not limited to skills, experience, certifications, and work location.  The total compensation package for this position may also include annual performance bonus, benefits and/or other applicable incentive compensation plans.We offer Medical, dental, and vision benefits in addition to:
