This role offers the opportunity to embrace technology, enable and decide strategy, and collaborate globally. You will oversee SaaS financial processes that encompass an entire P&L, including commercial finance & risk management, FP&A, cost management, and revenue operations.Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee the Software as a Service P&L, Free Cash Flow and Balance Sheet. Responsibilities include aspects of commercial finance, product finance, sourcing management, engineering finance, FP&A, ERP management, and strong collaboration with controllership & tax teams.  
  • Use FLIGHT DECK to improve commercial and operational performance, deliver better visibility and connection between operations and financials, and simplify work for the team
  • Drive accurate and complete financials and utilize financial reporting to drive operational action
  • Financial modeling & capital allocation: Drive accurate business case financials related to long term strategic planning and new business deals. Manage capital allocation modeling and decisions. Collaborate with BD finance team on evaluation of software related M&A activity.
  • Effectively communicate key dynamics of the program to both internal and external stakeholders
  • Provide insight into forecasting & performance of the business to operating leader and help drive action planning to reach financial goals
  • Maintain the highest standards of controllership, compliance & rigor – partnering with controllership while advocating for the unique GAAP considerations of a SaaS business
  • Collaborate with Compensation & Benefits team to maintain and manage the SaaS Sales Incentive plan
  • Manage and execute revenue sharing arrangements with strategic partners
  • Develop team and contribute to career planning and broader Commercial Engines and Services talent initiatives

Required Qualifications

  • Master's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 6 years of experience in Job Family Group(s)/Function(s)).

Desired Characteristics

  • Software or subscription business experience preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to engage a global team working remotely
  • Experience using Alteryx and Fusion helpful
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal and leadership skills. Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems. Demonstrated ability to lead programs / projects.
  • Established project management skills.
