Position Overview
We're seeking a Senior Director, Social Media Analytics - Global to lead social media measurement, performance analysis, and insight generation worldwide. This role will define the vision for how SharkNinja leverages social data to understand consumer behavior, measure content and campaign effectiveness, and shape global strategy across brands and regions.
As a senior leader within our Global Marketing Analytics Team, this person will transform complex social data into clear, actionable insights that drive creative, content, influencer, and community strategy. The ideal candidate is a seasoned leader who thrives in SharkNinja's fast-moving culture, balancing rigor with pragmatism and using data not only to measure performance but to inform executives, guide strategy, and spark future opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
  • Global Leadership: Serve as the senior lead for social media analytics across all regions, setting global measurement frameworks, best practices, and performance standards.
  • Team Growth & Leadership: Build, scale, and mentor a global social media analytics function, developing talent (including direct leadership of analysts) and shaping future organizational design.
  • Social Analytics Expertise: Lead performance measurement across organic, influencer, paid, and earned channels, from content engagement and community growth to campaign ROI and long-term brand impact.
  • Listening & Signal Detection: Oversee global social listening and intelligence to identify emerging trends, sentiment shifts, competitor activity, and viral moments, surfacing risks and opportunities early.
  • Integrated Insights: Connect social data with broader marketing and business performance, ensuring social is fully embedded in brand health, campaign success, and consumer insights reporting.
  • Testing & Innovation: Drive a global test-and-learn agenda for social, including predicting and measuring virality, influencer ROI, creative optimization, incrementality, and platform-specific experimentation.
  • Executive Influence: Deliver compelling, concise insight narratives to senior leadership, ensuring social analytics directly shapes global investment and brand strategy.
  • Cross-Functional Partnership: Collaborate with Brand, Creative, IMC, Media, Product, and Regional Marketing teams to drive social-first strategies, inform media planning, and influence product design.

Attributes & Skills
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing, Analytics, Statistics, Economics, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in analytics with significant focus on social media analytics; strong leadership track record required.
  • Deep expertise in measuring global social media performance across paid, organic, influencer, and earned ecosystems.
  • Strong knowledge of platform analytics (Meta, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, X, LinkedIn, etc.), social listening tools, and methodologies for measuring social ROI and brand impact.
  • Working knowledge of social platform data structures and how to connect cross-channel datasets.
  • Experience building and leading global analytics teams in consumer-driven industries (CPG, retail, lifestyle).
  • Exceptional communication, storytelling, and executive presence, with the ability to distill complex social signals into clear business recommendations.
  • Demonstrated success in driving innovation in social media measurement, listening, and experimentation, with recognition as an industry leader a plus.
  • Comfortable operating in fast-paced, high-growth environments where speed-to-insight is critical.

Work Environment
This is a primarily on-site role based in Needham, MA (HQ), with flexibility to work from home 1-2 days per week.
