Job Title: Senior Director, Global Asset Protection, Security and Safety Operations
Primary Purpose: The Director of Asset Protection, Security & Safety Operations is responsible for leading the strategic direction and execution of all asset protection, security and safety initiatives globally, across retail stores, fulfillment centers and corporate sites. This role will set enterprise strategy, establish global standards and drive operational excellence across all regions. This role will oversee a team of Asset Protection and Safety leaders, along with third party security personnel, and partner closely with cross-functional teams to enhance operational safety, ensure regulatory compliance, and protect company assets, team members, and customers.

• Lead the physical security program for Tapestry's corporate headquarters, protecting employees, visitors, facilities, information, and company assets across global locations.
• Oversee the Global Security Operations Center (GSOC), including operational standards, staffing, security technology, incident monitoring, emergency communications, intelligence reporting, and escalation protocols, driving continuous enhancement of capabilities.
• Establish and maintain consistent global security policies, procedures, and operating standards aligned with Tapestry's business objectives and risk profile. Lead global standardization and governance.
• Develop and continuously evaluate security measures, including access control, visitor management, video surveillance, alarm systems, security officer operations, and emergency-response procedures. Ensure scalable, best-in-class solutions across all regions.
• Build and lead an enterprise business continuity, crisis management and incident response program with clear governance, escalation protocols, communication framework, and roles.
• Partner with business leaders to develop, maintain and test continuity and recovery plans across critical functions by exercising scenario planning.
• Provide enterprise oversight during significant incidents, coordinating cross functional response and maintain clear situational awareness for senior leadership.
• Serve as Tapestry's primary emergency response security liaison with Hudson Yards campus security and building management, coordinating daily security matters, campus-wide risks, emergency preparedness, and incident response and extend oversight to all global locations.
• Maintain strong working relationships with the New York City Police Department, New York City Fire Department, emergency-management partners, and other local, state, federal, and international law-enforcement agencies, as appropriate. Represent Tapestry as an executive level in key public and private security partnerships.
• Lead public-private security partnerships, ensuring actionable threat information and operational changes are communicated to internal leadership. Build and maintain strategic relationships at the executive and government levels.
• Coordinate joint security planning, emergency exercises, threat assessments, investigations, and response protocols with campus security, property management, law enforcement, and emergency-response agencies. Align plans with enterprise risk management and business continuity objectives.
• Provide operational support for Tapestry's executive protection program, including risk assessments, protective intelligence, travel security, transportation coordination, and protection for senior executives when required. Oversee global executive protection standards to ensure consistent delivery across all regions.
• Lead security planning for corporate meetings, special events, leadership gatherings, including staffing, access controls, emergency procedures, and executive protection coverage. Establish enterprise event security standards and risk management frameworks.
• Direct sensitive investigations involving workplace incidents, theft, misconduct, threats, fraud, policy violations, and other matters affecting Tapestry's people, reputation, operations, or assets. Oversee investigative strategy and ensure alignment with Legal and HR.
• Oversee and support fraud investigations involving internal and external activity, including trend identification, investigative strategy, evidence preservation, case documentation, and corrective action while identifying systemic risks and recommend process and control improvements.
• Partner with Legal, Human Resources, Internal Audit, Finance, Cybersecurity, and business leadership on complex investigations, ensuring matters are handled objectively, confidentially, and in accordance with company policy and applicable law.
• Lead workplace violence prevention and threat-management efforts, including behavioral threat assessments, response planning, case management, and coordination with internal stakeholders and law enforcement.
• Advance Tapestry's employee safety program by identifying workplace hazards, analyzing incidents, recommending corrective actions, and supporting compliance with applicable health and safety requirements.
• Develop and maintain incident-response and crisis-management protocols for security threats, medical emergencies, protests, severe weather, facility disruptions, and other events affecting corporate operations. Lead global crisis management planning and serve on the crisis management team.
• Manage contracted security providers and other third-party partners by establishing performance expectations, monitoring service quality, and responsibly managing program budgets. Assist with vendor strategy, contract negotiations and performance governance.
• Evaluate emerging threats, security trends, and geopolitical developments that may affect Tapestry's employees, executives, locations, events, and business operations.
• Use security technology, intelligence, incident data, and performance metrics to identify risks, improve operational effectiveness, and provide leadership with clear, actionable reporting.
• Develop and deliver security awareness, emergency preparedness, workplace violence prevention, and safety training for employees and business partners while championing a global security culture.
• Recruit, develop, and lead a high-performing security personnel, establishing clear responsibilities, professional standards, development plans, and succession readiness to build a scalable team with defined career development plans.
• Serve as a trusted security advisor to VP of Asset Protection and senior leadership, providing practical recommendations that balance employee safety, asset protection, operational requirements, brand experience, and business continuity.
• Evaluate and implement new technologies and tools to enhance security and loss prevention capabilities, then lead innovation and digital transformation initiatives to advance security and safety operations.
