THE OPPORTUNITY:
We’re looking for a Sr. Director, Brand and Integrated Marketing to help write the next chapter of the Hint brand. This is a high-impact role for a marketer who combines sharp strategic thinking, exceptional creative judgment, strong commercial acumen, and the ability to put the pieces together to build winning 360 programs.

You’ll be one of the key leaders shaping how the Hint brand grows. You’ll lead our annual brand planning, develop the strategy behind our biggest brand moments, and independently steer integrated campaigns from brief through launch. You’ll connect consumer and cultural insight with commercial opportunity—ensuring that the work we do builds the brand while delivering meaningful business results.

You’ll be a critical partner to our Commercial and Innovation teams, helping identify where the brand can unlock growth, shaping the consumer strategy behind new products and initiatives, and bringing innovation to market in ways that strengthen both the portfolio and the Hint brand.

You’ll also define how Hint connects with our target consumer — crafting sharp social, creator and influencer, partnership and experiential strategies —building new ways for consumers to discover, engage with, and fall in love with the brand.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Own the brand plan and growth agenda. Lead annual brand planning and translate business priorities, consumer insights, market dynamics, and cultural opportunities into a focused roadmap for how Hint will grow. Identify the biggest opportunities for the brand and make clear choices about where we should play, and where we shouldn't.
  • Partner with Commercial teams to turn brand strategy into growth. Partner with Sales and Commercial leaders to understand customer, channel, and marketplace opportunities and translate them into compelling marketing and go-to-market plans. Ensure our brand strategy connects to the realities of how and where consumers shop, and that our marketing helps unlock both consumer demand and commercial growth.
  • Help shape the Innovation agenda. Partner closely with Innovation and cross-functional teams to identify and develop products and initiatives that can drive incremental growth and strengthen the brand. Bring the consumer and brand perspective to innovation strategy, from identifying opportunities and defining the consumer proposition through launch. Ensure new products feel strategically connected to the Hint brand while creating meaningful reasons for consumers to choose us over the competition.
  • Lead the big ideas. Own integrated brand and product campaigns from strategy through launch. Develop the brief, shape the narrative arc, build the go-to-market plan, align cross-functional partners, and keep the work moving. You’ll be expected to operate with significant autonomy and minimal oversight.
  • Make the work better. Partner closely with our internal Creative team and agency partners to develop work that is distinctive, strategically sharp, and unmistakably Hint. Bring a strong point of view, give clear feedback, and hold a high bar. You’ll know when to push, when to challenge, and when to make the call.
  • Expand Hint’s reach and relevance. Own how we use social, creators and influencers, partnerships, events, and other brand experiences to make Hint more relevant and connected. Find the people, platforms, partners, and moments that can help us reach consumers in ways that feel natural to the brand.
  • Connect the dots. Bring together Creative, Media, Social, Influencer, PR, Product, Innovation, Sales/Commercial, Insights, and other partners around one cohesive consumer and business story. Make sure our channels and teams work together rather than operating as a collection of disconnected tactics.
  • Be the voice of the brand. Bring the Hint point of view into cross-functional conversations. Protect what makes the brand distinctive while pushing it forward. Advocate decisively for what is right for Hint, even when it requires challenging assumptions or making difficult tradeoffs.
  • Turn strategy into action. We move quickly. You’ll bring the structure and operational rigor to turn ambitious ideas into great work—setting priorities, creating clarity, making decisions, and keeping teams and partners accountable.
  • Measure what matters. Define clear measures of success across brand health, consumer engagement, innovation, and commercial performance. Use data, insights, and learnings to sharpen our strategy, improve our marketing, and ensure our investments are driving meaningful growth.

Requirements

What We're Looking For

  • 10+ years of experience in brand, consumer, or integrated marketing, ideally in CPG, beverage, food, lifestyle, retail, or another consumer-focused business.
  • A strategic thinker who can connect consumer insight, brand strategy, innovation, and commercial opportunity into a clear growth agenda.
  • Experience leading integrated campaigns end-to-end—from identifying the opportunity and writing the brief to creative development, go-to-market, launch, and optimization.
  • Experience partnering closely with Sales/Commercial and Innovation teams to translate business opportunities into consumer-facing strategies and successful launches.
  • Exceptional creative instincts. You know what great work looks like, can brief creative teams effectively, and have the judgment to make the work better.
  • Experience building brands through social, creators/influencers, partnerships, events, experiential, or other relevant connection channels.
  • The ability to operate independently and thrive in an environment where you are expected to figure things out, take ownership, and move quickly.
  • A highly effective cross-functional leader who can earn trust and influence across Marketing, Creative, Innovation, Sales, and Commercial.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills. You can sell a growth strategy to executives and write a brief that gets a creative team excited.
  • A balance of big-picture thinking and getting-your-hands-dirty execution.
  • A proven track record of developing high-performing teams and growing talent.

Benefits
  • Base salary of $175,000-200,000. Actual salary offer may vary based on location and work experience. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.

  • Up to 95% of the employee and dependent healthcare premiums paid for by the company
  • Life insurance (company-paid and voluntary)
  • Flexible Spending Accounts
  • 401K (regular and Roth)
  • Up to $150/month health and wellness reimbursement
