Nando’s PERi‑PERi USA is a growing restaurant group seeking a full‑time Senior Director, Integrated Brand & Commercial Marketing to join our Restaurant Support family. We’re known for our flame‑grilled chicken, our South African roots, and our passion for putting people at the center of everything we do.


POSITION SUMMARY

The Senior Director, Integrated Brand & Commercial Marketing is a key member of the Marketing Leadership Team responsible for translating Nando's brand strategy into integrated marketing programs that strengthen brand equity, accelerate commercial performance, and elevate the guest experience.
Reporting to the Head of Brand Marketing, this leader provides strategic oversight across integrated marketing communications, commercialization, guest marketing, local restaurant marketing, and marketing operations. Working cross-functionally with Operations, Culinary, Digital, Finance, and agency partners, the Senior Director ensures marketing priorities are translated into disciplined execution that delivers measurable business impact.


CORE LEADERSHIP ACCOUNTABILITIES

Integrated Marketing Communications

  • Partner with the Head of Marketing to evolve Nando's brand marketing strategy and annual marketing roadmap.
  • Lead integrated marketing campaigns that strengthen brand equity and deliver measurable commercial results.
  • Translate consumer insights and business priorities into integrated marketing communications that drive relevance and growth.
  • Provide strategic leadership across PR, social, influencer, experiential, and campaign communications while developing a high-performing Campaigns, Culture & Brand Activation team.

Menu Commercialization, LTO Strategy & Pricing

  • Lead commercialization of menu innovation, Limited Time Offers (LTOs), and seasonal campaigns.
  • Partner cross-functionally to develop integrated go-to-market strategies that align guest, operational, and commercial objectives.
  • Support menu optimization and pricing initiatives that strengthen guest value perception and profitable growth.
  • Ensure menu launches are operationally executable and consistently represented across every guest touchpoint.

Guest Experience & Restaurant Communications

  • Lead the marketing teams role in shaping a seamless and differentiated in-restaurant guest experience.
  • Establish the strategy for guest communications across restaurant touchpoints.
  • Partner with Operations to simplify restaurant communications and improve execution.
  • Continuously identify opportunities to enhance the guest journey through more effective marketing communications.

Commercial Marketing & Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Serve as the primary marketing partner to Operations, Culinary, Digital, Finance, and Analytics.
  • Lead cross-functional commercialization and campaign planning that enables disciplined execution.
  • Build strong partnerships that accelerate decision-making and organizational effectiveness.
  • Influence cross-functional stakeholders to ensure marketing remains a strategic driver of business performance.

Local Restaurant Marketing Leadership

  • Establish the strategic direction and priorities for the Local Restaurant Marketing function.
  • Coach and develop leaders responsible for local marketing execution and community engagement.
  • Partner with Operations leadership to ensure local marketing programs support restaurant and business priorities.
  • Continuously evolve local marketing strategies based on business performance and field insights.

Financial Stewardship, Agency Leadership & Marketing Operations

  • Provide financial stewardship of the Integrated Brand & Commercial Marketing budget, including forecasting, reconciliation, and variance management.
  • Establish governance for budget processes, ensuring disciplined financial management across the marketing organization.
  • Partner with the Head of Marketing to evaluate agency capabilities, support agency selection, and oversee assigned agency workstreams.
  • Drive marketing operations, tools, and processes that improve organizational effectiveness and execution.
Preferred Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • 10–15 years of progressive marketing leadership experience within high-performing companies and working on top consumer brands.
  • Proven success leading integrated marketing, commercialization, and cross-functional business initiatives.
  • Demonstrated ability to build high-performing teams, influence across functions, and manage significant marketing investments.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

  • Restaurant, hospitality, or food & beverage experience.
  • Experience with organizations recognized for marketing excellence, operational discipline, and strong brand stewardship.
  • Experience leading marketing teams within complex, matrixed organizations.

WORK ARRANGEMENT

Based in Washington, D.C. Schedule includes 5 days fully on‑site at our Restaurant Support Office.


COMPENSATION RANGE

155,000 - 195,000
