The RoleAspenTech is seeking a Senior Digital Communications Specialist reporting to the Director, Corporate Communications. This role requires a versatile professional responsible for planning and creating multimedia content initiatives focused on increasing brand awareness and shaping the company’s reputation as a strategic partner to asset-intensive industries around the world. In addition, the senior specialist will develop and manage the strategic direction for key channels, including the company’s online newsroom, blog and YouTube presence.
The senior communications specialist will work closely with our internal technology experts, senior writers, social media manager, creative services and video production team as well as customers, third party influencers and other relevant external stakeholders.

Your Impact

  • Develop a consistent pipeline of multimedia-based stories to be published across designated channels, including:
    • Feature stories and blogs for online Newsroom as well as other company website sections
    • Earned and paid editorial placements
    • Social channels including YouTube, LinkedIn, Instagram and others
  • Pilot and develop new content types and channels as appropriate
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on all phases of content planning and development
  • Leverage AI tools to enhance content creation, streamline production, and scale content for multiple channels
  • Establish and manage content calendars, production schedules, and workflows to ensure timely and consistent content delivery
  • Use content management system (CMS) to ensure content is published, up-to-date and accessible
  • Analyze content performance using engagement analytics to refine strategies and optimize for maximum impact
  • Stay current with industry trends, digital content best practices, and innovations in AI-driven content creation
  • Manage and execute long-term channel management plans for YouTube, the company’s online newsroom and additional channels as appropriate, including:
    • Strategy development
    • Content structure and oversight
    • 3rd party influencer relationships
    • Ongoing content lifecycle management
    • Subscriber growth
    • Metrics, performance analytics & reporting

What You'll Need

  • 5+ years of experience in channel management, content creation, digital content production, or a similar role within a B2B technology environment.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing, scripting, producing and managing digital content creation processes related to videos, podcasts, feature articles, blogs and social media content
  • Experience using Generative AI tools to create and enhance digital content
  • Familiarity with content management systems, social media platforms and analytics tools
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a creative mindset and attention to detail
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field
