ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Senior Data Visualization Designer, you'll shape how Kraft Heinz teams interact with data-turning data into compelling, actionable narratives that drive business decisions. This role sits at the heart of data storytelling, transforming complex data into intuitive, visually engaging experiences that empower decision-making.
You'll collaborate closely with stakeholders, ensuring that data is understood and actionable. Whether designing high-level executive overviews or deep-dive analysis, you'll uncover the narrative thread within the data, making insights clear, accessible and impactful.
This role is perfect for someone who leverages user experience principles to solve complex problems, enjoys uncovering insights within data and is driven by the challenge of making information clear, intuitive and actionable through user-centered design.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Data storytelling & visualization

  • Turn complex data into compelling, easy-to-understand narratives that surface insights and drive decision-making.
  • Create and refine data-driven experiences, ensuring clarity and usability.
  • Advocate for best-in-class data visualization solutions, presenting your work to technical and non-technical audiences.


User-centered design & prototyping

  • Prototype and design high-fidelity mockups in Figma, collaborating with product and development for seamless handoffs.
  • Develop intuitive user flows using UX methods like personas, behavioral archetypes and information architecture.


Stakeholder collaboration

  • Ensure data visualization best practices are incorporated into the Design System, supporting and guiding the Design System Manager to maintain accessibility and consistency.
  • Advocate for data visualization best practices across development teams, helping to elevate data visualization literacy across the organization.
  • Champion the role of data storytelling in decision-making, influencing how teams interact with and interpret data.


WHO YOU ARE

  • 5-7 years of experience in UI, UX, or data visualization design, with a strong portfolio showcasing impactful data storytelling.
  • Strong problem solver, comfortable working with complex datasets and transforming them into intuitive, user-friendly experiences.
  • UX-minded designer, eager to learn or refine skills in prototyping and user research. (If you're not there yet, we can train you!)
  • Excellent communicator, able to translate data into clear, compelling visuals and advocate for thoughtful design.
  • Proficient in Figma, Tableau, Power BI, or other analytics tools-or ready to dive in and learn quickly.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, high-impact environment where every project presents a new challenge and an opportunity to innovate.

New Hire Base Salary Range:
$96,800.00 - $121,000.00
Bonus: This position is eligible for a performance-based bonus as provided by the plan terms and governing documents.
The compensation offered will take into account internal equity and may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors
