The Sr. Data Analyst will support AI initiatives with SQL expertise, evaluate AI models, ensure compliance, and deliver healthcare insights.

We are seeking a Sr. Data Analyst with advanced SQL expertise to support our Data Science and AI initiatives through high-impact analytics and insights. This role is pivotal in enabling the development of safe, effective, and accurate AI solutions that drive meaningful outcomes. An ideal candidate will possess strong SQL and data exploration skills, demonstrate the ability to assess GenAI models, and bring a solid background in healthcare.- Analytics & Insights: Provide end-to-end data analytics support for AI/ML/agent initiatives, including requirements analysis, exploratory data analysis, and business insights.
- Model Evaluation: Partner with data scientists to evaluate AI/ML models, measure performance, and ensure outputs are accurate, reliable, and clinically meaningful.
- AI Readiness: Assess and prepare data for AI initiatives, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations (HIPAA, ONC, CMS) and alignment with enterprise data standards.
- Compliance & Governance: Support AI transparency, fairness, and compliance by documenting data lineage, assumptions, and validation processes.
- Healthcare Insights: Deliver clinical and operational insights that inform the design and deployment of AI agents within EHR and practice management workflows.
- Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, AI/ML engineers, clinicians, and compliance teams to ensure AI/ML solutions meet stakeholder needs.
- Perform other duties that support the overall objective of the position.
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Health Informatics, or equivalent field.
- Or, any combination of education and experience which would provide the required qualifications for the position.
- 5+ years as a Data Analyst, including direct experience supporting AI/ML teams.
- Demonstrated experience applying Generative AI (GenAI) in healthcare contexts (clinical documentation, coding, patient engagement, or operations).
- Experience with EHR and practice management data domains is preferred.
- Knowledge of: Expert-level SQL skills for data exploration, query optimization, feature engineering and pipeline validation. Familiarity with modeling strategies (predictive analytics, NLP, classification, and GenAI applications). Understanding of healthcare compliance standards including HIPAA, data privacy, and AI governance best practices.
- Preferred: Proficiency in Python or R for data analysis and visualization. Knowledge of AI evaluation frameworks (fairness, explainability, drift monitoring).

- Ability to: Strong ability to translate technical findings into insights for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
