Job Summary

The Senior Creative Operations Manager is responsible for driving the planning, execution, and delivery of cross-functional creative projects. This role serves as the connective link between stakeholders, strategists, and creative teams, ensuring projects are accurately scoped, properly resourced, and delivered on time without compromising quality. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, detail-oriented, and able to bring clarity, structure, and strategic foresight to complex creative initiatives. This individual thrives in ambiguous environments, asks the right questions early, and effectively manages competing priorities while supporting business objectives.

Role Description

Project Intake, Scoping & Planning

  • Lead intake conversations with stakeholders to fully understand project objectives, constraints, and success criteria.

  • Translate high-level requests into clearly defined project scopes, timelines, budgets, and deliverables.

  • Identify risks, dependencies, and contingency plans at the outset of projects.

  • Establish realistic timelines based on project type, complexity, and team capacity.

Execution & Workflow Management

  • Build and manage detailed project plans using Asana or similar project management tools.

  • Coordinate across creative, marketing, product, and external partner teams to ensure alignment.

  • Proactively advance projects by anticipating blockers and resolving issues before escalation.

  • Monitor progress, manage scope changes, and ensure projects are delivered on time and in accordance with project requirements.

Cross-Functional Communication

  • Serve as the primary point of contact between stakeholders and the Brand & Creative team.

  • Facilitate clear and consistent communication throughout all phases of a project.

  • Lead status meetings, provide regular updates, and maintain transparency regarding risks, timelines, and project health.

  • Confidently manage stakeholder expectations and address misalignment related to scope, timelines, or resources.

Creative Production Management

  • Partner closely with creative leadership to align production requirements across multiple channels, including:

    • Print

    • Digital design

    • Experiential and event activations

    • Web (UX/UI)

    • Video and motion content

    • Social media content

  • Apply knowledge of production processes, service-level expectations, timelines, and best practices.

  • Ensure appropriate lead times and resource allocation models are incorporated into project plans.

Operations & Process Optimization

  • Continuously improve workflows, project templates, and tools to enhance team efficiency.

  • Maintain documentation for processes, timelines, project standards, and operational best practices.

  • Implement scalable systems and processes that support increasing creative demand and organizational growth.

Creative & Production Expertise

  • Strong working knowledge of creative development and production workflows across:

    • Print and digital design

    • Experiential marketing and events

    • Video production and motion design

    • Social content development

  • Understanding of production timelines, dependencies, and channel-specific requirements.

  • Ability to manage creative projects from intake through final delivery.

Adaptability

Other Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree in related field required

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in creative operations, project management, production management, or related roles.

  • Experience working within an in-house creative team, agency environment, or a combination of both.

  • Proven track record managing complex, cross-channel creative campaigns and initiatives.

  • Experience with resource management and capacity planning.

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Ability to travel 20%

Preferred

  • Experience working in both agency and in-house creative environments.

  • Demonstrated success managing large-scale, cross-functional creative campaigns.

  • Advanced experience with resource planning and team capacity management.

  • Experience leveraging automation, workflow optimization tools, and AI-enabled solutions to improve operational efficiency.​

The estimated annual pay range for this position is $110,000 - $130,000 which includes a base salary and bonus. The compensation for this position is dependent on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location and, therefore, will vary from individual to individual. Benefits may include, but are not limited to, medical, vision, dental, 401K, and flexible spending.
