As a Sr. Compensation Analyst on the People Services team, a typical day for you will include:

  • Manage compensation data within Workday, Payscale/Payfactors
  • Conduct salary surveys and evaluate benchmarking data on a regular basis to ensure consistent understanding of the competitive market landscape
  • Leverage data and analytics to inform the compensation strategy, philosophy, job architecture framework, and compensation structure (including job description evaluation methodology, base salary ranges, incentive targets by level, etc.)
  • Provide subject matter expertise to support talent acquisition and the business by ensuring offers are aligned with compensation philosophy, strategy, and policies with a concentrated focus on internal equity and equitable pay practices
  • Evaluate job roles and responsibilities to determine appropriate classifications and salaries, ensuring accuracy and consistency through job analysis and job description development
  • Monitor use, adoption, effectiveness, compliance, and governance of compensation practices through salary administration guidelines
  • Routinely apply understanding of the principles of interconnection of compensation programs, systems, and payroll processes

(Required qualifications)

  • Experience:
    • Minimum 3+ years experience in a compensation function/role (equivalent combination of finance and compensation experience may be considered)
    • As a compensation administrator within HCM program (Workday system implementation experience a plus)
    • Administering or managing incentive pay plans, commissions, and other variable pay components
    • With job architecture design, development and/or implementation is a plus
  • Skills:
    • Demonstrated proficiency in data aggregation and analytics skills to deliver against reporting needs and ability to synthesize themes, summaries, and correlations resulting from data.
    • Keen attention to detail and persistence for resolving the core issue at the root of any challenges.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or Human Resources, or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience (Finance background highly preferred)
  • Schedule / in-office requirements: Hybrid schedule: 3 days in office at our Irving, Texas headquarters or our Waco, Texas headquarters and 2 days remote.
