The Sr. Advisor provides leadership, vision, and guidance to a PCG team for business growth in technology solution and consulting for the PCG Education practice area.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for providing expertise in identification of revenue opportunities in Education agency data ingestion process including reporting and other technology services.
  • Provides public education agency expertise and knowledge to lead a team and assist in technology and strategic planning towards solutions and business development.
  • Analyzes existing public education agency technology markets to identify potential areas of opportunity.
  • Leverages existing client networks and relationships to build future business opportunities and solution offerings.
  • Establishes good working relationships with federal, state agency as well as private sector solution firms.
  • Leads conference and speaking engagement strategy.
  • Other tasks as to be determined by PCG management.

Required Skills

  • Subject matter expertise in public education agency technology  arena.
  • Strong leadership, assertiveness, and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to lead teams to sell and deliver services and solutions.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects in a cross-functional capacity.
  • Objective decision-making ability based on strategic priorities, business performance analysis and resource availability.
  • Self-starter, assertive, enthusiastic and has the political savvy to get things done, yet maintain a likeable presence. Ability to deal with adversity and differing opinions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s degree or professional equivalent highly preferred.
  • 15+ years of combined experience in public education agencies and the private sector, with progressively increasing leadership responsibility and demonstrated success in developing, bidding, and winning management consulting engagements.
  • Expertise in government and education technology is preferred.

    Compensation:

    Compensation for roles at Public Consulting Group varies depending on a wide array of factors including, but not limited to, the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.  As required by applicable law, PCG provides a reasonable range of compensation for this role. In addition, PCG provides a range of benefits for this role, including medical and dental care benefits, 401k, PTO, parental leave, bereavement leave.

    Compensation for roles at Public Consulting Group varies depending on a wide array of factors including, but not limited to, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by applicable law, PCG provides the following reasonable range of compensation for this role: $115,000-$175,000. In addition, PCG provides a range of benefits for this role.
