Manage SAP S/4HANA operations, oversee system upgrades, provide ongoing support, lead project management, and develop user training and metrics for supply chain systems.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Oversee change controls, system upgrades, enhancements, and daily SAP S/4HANA operations.
- Provide implementation and ongoing support for SAP S/4HANA ERP.
- Lead weekly Sustainment support team meetings and act as liaison between user groups and support.
- Provide Hypercare support during production transitions.
- Lead business project management for SAP S/4HANA.
- Communicate system operations clearly with SAP users.
- Develop business requirements for MRP systems with functional/user input.
- Conduct end-user training and create/update user process blueprints and flow diagrams.
- Manage day-to-day functionality of supply chain business systems.
- Develop metrics via data mining to track SAP master and transaction data.
- Generate reports for management and user groups.
- Maintain lean methodology in system/process execution.
- Handle change controls, CAPA, UATs with Beam IT and service providers.
- Lead SAP integration efforts across Cell and Gene Therapy businesses and sites.
- Implement SAP tracking system for issue management and remediation tracking.
- Audit system records for data standardization.
- Coordinate SAP training programs.
- Optimize SAP S/4HANA processes.
- Create and modify New Material Master Data.
- Guide users on SAP ERP processes and functionality.
- Foster a collaborative team environment.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, genomics, bioinformatics, or a closely related field.
Experience: Five years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in:
- Material Requirements Planning (MRP), including data-driven decision-making and supply chain optimization.
- Inventory and warehouse management using SAP S/4HANA ERP.
- Data warehousing, analysis, and statistical data mining using one of the following Business Intelligence tools:
- Power BI
- Tableau
- MS Visio
- Data and information management across systems using governance and integration frameworks.

- Permanent, full-time, immediately available, job opportunity;
- Does not require travel;
- Not permitted to telecommute, i.e., cannot exclusively work remotely from home;
- Must live in the City of Durham, or within a reasonable, daily commuting distance thereof (e.g., areas contemplated can include the City of Raleigh, the larger Greater Raleigh-Durham region, or Wake Forest and Chapel Hill communities);
- Is not a supervisory capacity over other people; does not manage other personnel; is a hands-on individual contributor; does not have subordinate, direct reports.
