Primary Purpose
The Shopper Marketing Specialist supports the development and execution of scaled shopper marketing programs and partnerships that drive sales and change customer shopper behavior across Ahold Delhaize US Retail Brands. This role collaborates closely with internal marketing partners including Shopper Managers at each retail brand, category management, merchandising, retail media and vendor partners to ensure successful omnichannel campaigns. The Specialist facilitates shopper program/campaign setup, program tracking, and the day-to-day management of shopper marketing initiatives to support business growth, revenue growth, digital penetration and customer engagement.
Our flexible/ hybrid work schedule includes 3 in-person days at one of our core locations and 2 remote days. Our core office locations include Salisbury, NC , Chicago, IL, Quincy, MA, Carlisle, PA, Scarborough, ME, and Hyattsville, MD.

IL/MA/MD Salary Range: $86,320 - $129,480

Duties and Responsibilities
- Facilitate and process materials to support execution of shopper marketing campaigns, ensuring timely delivery of program elements across digital, in-store, and print channels.
- Collaborate with Shopper Marketing Managers (ADUSA and Hannaford, Stop & Shop, The GIANT Company, Giant Food & Food Lion) and vendor partners to align on awarded Shopper programming and deliverables.
- Manage campaign documentation including programming awards, timelines, and financial trackers.
- Coordinate with internal teams (Category Management, Retail Media, Merchandising) to facilitate seamless campaign execution.
- Monitor program performance, gather data, and assist in post-campaign reporting and analysis.
- Develop and maintain program trackers to ensure accurate budget management and reporting.
- Aid in the development of presentations, sales materials, and vendor-facing documents to support shopper marketing execution.
- Maintain effective communication with vendors, agency partners, and internal stakeholders to ensure alignment throughout program lifecycle.
- Identify and recommend process improvements to streamline workflow and enhance program impact.
- Assist in the development of presentations, sales materials, and vendor-facing documents that support shopper marketing partnerships.
- Provide day-to-day support for special projects, ad hoc requests, and team initiatives as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 1-3 years of marketing, shopper marketing, retail, CPG partnership or agency experience.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Strong communication skills-both written and verbal.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); familiarity with marketing dashboards and analytics preferred.
- Results-driven, with a proactive mindset and a willingness to learn.
- Proven ability to build strong working relationships across internal teams and external partners.
- Familiarity with project management tools and processes.
- Has a developing understanding of integrated omnichannel marketing approaches
