Supports ADUSA Brand pharmacies in the development, administration, and evolution of services designed to expand access to care and improve patient health outcomes. The position leads initiatives that enable Brand pharmacies to maximize clinical services and opportunities to enhance reimbursement performance. Areas of primary focus will include pharmacist and pharmacy technician provided immunizations, immunization registry reporting, medication therapy management, disease state management, and expanding the role of retail pharmacists in other clinical areas to align with organizational goals and deliver measurable results.

Essential job functions:
  • Coordinates or develops clinical programs and services that measurably change customer behavior in choosing good health or improving health while enhancing Brand pharmacy department financial performance.
  • Leads clinical protocol management including monitoring regulatory changes and reviewing, updating, and maintaining clinical materials used in Brand pharmacy service offerings, such as immunization standing orders or other clinical protocols, to facilitate pharmacist provided services.
  • Identifies best practices and evaluates new clinical services for implementation or optimization of existing programs in Brand pharmacies.
  • Leads the ongoing refinement of clinical tools that improve patient engagement and support convenient patient health management through appointment scheduling, adherence programs, and communication platforms.
  • Maintains a broad-based view of managed care payment performance standards and how they are expected to evolve over time to inform clinical program decision making.
  • Understands and prepares Brands to deliver against the needs of various health care organizations, payers, employers and governmental healthcare organizations.
  • Collaborates across Legal, Compliance, Outcomes Reporting, Pharmacy Application and Support, Managed Care, Pharmacy Operations, etc. in understanding current customer needs to advance clinical initiatives and services.
  • Cultivates and manages vendor relationships to support business requirements, including vendor onboarding, contracting, and agreement management.
  • Additional job duties may be assigned as needed to meet the needs of the business and support our Values.

Qaulifications:
  • PharmD or BS degree in pharmacy
  • 3+ years of active practice as a licensed pharmacist in a retail pharmacy setting or similar relevant practice setting
  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time for business purposes.
  • Integrate and collaborate within a matrix-like organization.
  • Proven ability to work in both the virtual and in-person environments across multiple campuses.
  • Developed new or maintained established programs that deliver customer facing clinical touchpoints
  • Proven ability to think analytically, apply analytical techniques and provide in-depth analysis of processes.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple demands in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in presentation/communication with senior leadership audiences.
  • Intermediate/High level proficiency with Microsoft Office suite of applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.
  • Financial ROI development and measurement of program or process proposals including proven ability to interpret financial measures associated with process improvement, cost modeling and forecasting.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of experience as a Clinical pharmacist/lead, Pharmacy Manager or Pharmacy District Manager
RX Salary Range: $106,480- $159,720
Actual compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on their unique qualifications and experience, internal equity, and market conditions. Final compensation decisions will be made in accordance with company policies and applicable laws.
