Essential job descriptions:
- Enforces vendor master data compliance processes to ensure compliance with internal controls, audit standards and regulatory requirements.
- Reviews, validates, and approves vendor master records for set-ups, changes and inactivation to prevent fraud, risk and non-compliant records.
- Responsible for quality control of vendor master data, including accuracy of banking, tax, address, contact and legal entity information. Resolves discrepancies across vendor attribution.
- Ensures all required compliance documentation is collected, validated and retained in accordance with legal, tax and regulatory requirements.
- Completes third-party validations through GIACT (banking), TIN Check (tax ID) and Dun & Bradstreet (credit rating).
- Performs audit on critical attributes within VMDM application to ensure compliance with internal controls.
- Completes and audits ERP enrichment to ensure completion of vendor set-up and maintenance updates from VMDM.
- Supports audit and compliance activities by maintaining documentation, ensuring process adherence and responding to audit inquiries.
- Responsible for VMD/FVM vendor master workflows and timelines to ensure efficient processing to meet SLAs and required segregation of duties.
- Partners with the Master Data Management Support team to resolve vendor and business partner data entry violations.
- Acts as a mentor and subject-matter expert, developing team capabilities through training on master data management principles, data tools, analytical methods, and quality assurance practices.
- Performs additional enterprise-support duties as required to advance organizational priorities, uphold ADUSA values, and strengthen the master data management framework across all business units.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in data management, Information Systems, or related business field or equivalent relevant experience
- 2-4 years of experience in master data management, internal controls, or financial operations
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail, especially related to data accuracy and timing.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with vendors and internal stakeholders effectively.
- Complete understanding and ability to apply principles and standards. Knowledge of industry practices.
- Ability to identify issues, assess risk, and proactively recommend solutions.
- Sets objectives for own job with the understanding of how output would affect, and impact other job areas related to own job.
- Contributes and provides input to the development of operational area, (e.g. work unit/project team) goals within the context of own job area.
- Plans and schedules workload to ensure completion of assignments. Work is reviewed upon completion for adequacy in meeting compliance and processing requirements.
