About the Role:

Cresta's forward-deployed team embeds directly with enterprise customers to drive real AI transformation — not pilots, but production deployments that changes Customer Experience for F500 companies.

We’re hiring our founding Special Projects Lead on our AI Agent Team. You'll play a critical role in scaling our AI Agent deployment motion and business: building the operational foundation for rapid team growth and leading special projects for our AI Agents team across process, product, and go-to-market.

What You’ll Do:

Business Operations

  • Team operations: Own weekly business reviews for the forward-deployed team, reporting on OKRs such as revenue and pilot-to-conversion performance.
  • Knowledge management: Design an AI-powered “second brain” to centralize team know-how. Establish clear documentation standards and drive accountability for subject-matter owners across specialized topics.
  • Scale the team: Develop internal tools and processes to enable scaling. Work as a multiplier across hiring processes (funnel optimization, events) for a team that is on a 8x headcount trajectory.

Special projects

  • Lead cross-functional projects at the intersection of product, go-to-market, and operations—deployment pattern synthesis, verticalization, AI Agent product SKUs.
  • Seed key initiatives, scaling them from idea to proof-of-concept before housing them in new roles (e.g., verticalization, Agent Academy for customers).
  • Grow the Cresta AI Agent and deployment brand by driving content & thought leadership across the team (blog posts, team spotlights, deployment case studies).

What We’re Looking For:

  • Bias towards action: No playbook needed — you figure it out and move.
  • Comfortable at every altitude: Equally at home developing strategy as building automations.
  • Strong operational background: You've built playbooks, pipelines, automations, and scaled operational processes.
  • 4–8 years of experience in a high-velocity environments; mix of builder/operator and strategic experience (business operations, strategy & operations, chief of staff, product strategy / operations, or other operator at a fast-scaling tech company)
  • Exceptional communication, tailored to audiences at different levels

Bonus Points:

  • Experience in a startup or high-growth environment
  • AI-native or Agent-building experience

Perks & Benefits:

We offer a comprehensive and people-first benefits package to support you at work and in life:

  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage with plans to fit you and your family
  • Flexible PTO to take the time you need, when you need it
  • Paid parental leave for all new parents welcoming a new child
  • Retirement savings plan to help you plan for the future
  • Remote work setup budget to help you create a productive home office
  • Monthly wellness and communication stipend to keep you connected and balanced
  • In-office meal program and commuter benefits provided for onsite employees

Compensation at Cresta

Cresta’s approach to compensation is simple: recognize impact, reward excellence, and invest in our people. We offer competitive, location-based pay that reflects the market and what each individual brings to the table.

The posted base salary range represents what we expect to pay for this role in a given location. Final offers are shaped by factors like experience, skills, education, and geography. In addition to base pay, total compensation includes equity and a comprehensive benefits package for you and your family.

OTE Range: $170,000–$225,000  + Offers Equity

We have noticed a rise in recruiting impersonations across the industry, where scammers attempt to access candidates' personal and financial information through fake interviews and offers. All Cresta recruiting email communications will always come from the @cresta.ai domain. Any outreach claiming to be from Cresta via other sources should be ignored.  If you are uncertain whether you have been contacted by an official Cresta employee, reach out to [email protected]
