This role is ideal for a strategic marketer who excels at translating product capabilities into compelling value propositions while driving measurable pipeline growth. The ideal candidate is equally comfortable developing solution messaging, creating sales enablement content, planning campaigns, and analyzing performance. What you'll do

  • Translate product capabilities into compelling, outcome-based messaging tailored to government and public sector audiences
  • Create and maintain sales enablement assets including one-pagers, battle cards, talk tracks, and objection-handling resources
  • Develop and execute integrated demand generation campaigns across email, webinars, content, conferences, and digital channels
  • Build and optimize nurture, lifecycle, and cross-sell programs for customers and prospects
  • Develop content plans supporting lead generation initiatives, including blogs, guides, case studies, and campaign assets
  • Conduct customer interviews and create compelling customer success stories and case studies
  • Produce and facilitate lead-generating webinars, including presentation development and live delivery
  • Write promotional emails and campaign content supporting sales and marketing initiatives
  • Monitor industry trends, regulatory updates, and market changes to ensure messaging remains relevant and impactful
  • Collaborate closely with Sales, Product, and Marketing teams to align campaigns with revenue goals and business priorities
  • Analyze campaign performance and report on key metrics including leads, conversion rates, pipeline contribution, and ROI
  • Continuously optimize campaigns, messaging, and content based on performance data and market insights

What you'll need to be successful

  • 5-8 years of experience in solutions marketing, product marketing, or demand generation within a B2B SaaS environment
  • Experience developing value propositions, buyer personas, and go-to-market messaging strategies
  • Proven success planning and executing paid and organic demand generation programs
  • Experience managing campaign budgets and measuring performance against pipeline and revenue objectives
  • Strong content creation, writing, editing, and storytelling skills
  • Experience creating sales enablement materials and partnering closely with sales teams
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret campaign data and make optimization recommendations
  • Excellent project management and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Ability to balance strategic planning with hands-on execution
  • Experience marketing complex software solutions to government, public sector, or regulated-industry audiences

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience marketing to municipal clerks, records management professionals, or public records organizations
  • Experience developing and executing webinar-based lead generation programs
  • Knowledge of government purchasing processes and public sector technology markets
  • Experience building nurture and lifecycle marketing programs within CRM and marketing automation platforms
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field

Host to the first telephone call and one of the first general-purpose computers ever put into use, Boston is now a hub for biotechnology, robotics and artificial intelligence — though it’s also home to several B2B software giants. So it’s no surprise that the city consistently ranks among the greatest startup ecosystems in the world.

Key Facts About Boston Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 269,000; 9.4% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Thermo Fisher Scientific, Toast, Klaviyo, HubSpot, DraftKings
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, biotechnology, robotics, software, aerospace
  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Summit Partners, Volition Capital, Bain Capital Ventures, MassVentures, Highland Capital Partners
  • Research Centers and Universities: MIT, Harvard University, Boston College, Tufts University, Boston University, Northeastern University, Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, National Bureau of Economic Research, Broad Institute, Lowell Center for Space Science & Technology, National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories
