The Role
As a Solution Consultant, you will collaborate closely with the sales team, acting as a trusted advisor to understand customer business challenges and to translate them into effective, compelling, product demonstrations of the Veeva RIM set of applications. This involves delivering tailored presentations and leading in-depth technical discussions to showcase how Veeva RIM’s applications drive improved Regulatory business outcomes. You will be responsible for configuring and customizing demonstration environments, articulating complex technical concepts clearly, and effectively addressing customer questions and concerns.
The ideal candidate possesses a strong understanding of the pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical device industries, coupled with a solid grasp of enterprise technology. Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills are essential, along with a passion for problem-solving and a consultative approach. This role requires the ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team, managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
What You’ll Do
- Analyze and understand customers’ Regulatory business and technology requirements
- Support sales teams in preparing and delivering winning presentations of Veeva RIM
- Build strong relationships with key Veeva customer personnel, acting as the subject matter expert for both the Veeva RIM product and Regulatory Operations business processes
- Quickly learn new Veeva RIM product features and how to communicate value to customers
- Lead customer-facing demonstrations and workshops
- Participate in responses to Requests for Proposals
- Work with Veeva RIM cross-functional teams to ensure customer success
- Support marketing activities such as recording videos, presenting webinars, and attending industry conferences
- Manage Veeva RIM demonstration sandbox environments
Requirements
- 5+ years’ experience within the Life Sciences industry
- Working knowledge of Regulatory Operations processes (submission preparation, document management, submission publishing, product registration) and related software
- Able to quickly learn new technology
- Excellent presentation skills
- Willingness to travel 10-20%, primarily in the US
- Energetic self-starter; able to work independently
- Bachelor’s Degree

- Pre-sales experience
- Software trainer experience
- Experience in Regulatory Operations groups within pharmaceutical and biotech organizations
- End-user and/or Administrator experience with Regulatory Operations software
- Understanding of SaaS/Cloud solutions and technology

Compensation
- Base pay: $80,000 - $200,000
- The salary range listed here has been provided to comply with local regulations and represents a potential base salary range for this role. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range above or below, depending on experience and location. We look at compensation for each individual and base our offer on your unique qualifications, experience, and expected contributions. This position may also be eligible for other types of compensation in addition to base salary, such as variable bonus and/or stock bonus.
