Key Responsibilities:
- Finance Solution Design:
- Architect scalable and sustainable finance solutions that integrate with ERP, EPM, procurement, treasury, accounting, tax and reporting systems.
- Product Architecture Leadership:
- Lead the architectural design of finance technology products, ensuring reuse, flexibility, and alignment with the product roadmap and user needs.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Partner with finance stakeholders, engineering teams, and enterprise architects to ensure robust delivery of solutions aligned with business goals.
- Technology Evaluation & Innovation:
- Assess and recommend emerging technologies, SaaS products, and automation frameworks to drive efficiency and innovation in finance processes.
- Governance & Compliance:
- Ensure solutions are compliant with security, data governance, and regulatory standards relevant to finance systems (e.g., SOX, GDPR, etc.).
- Risk Management:
- Proactively identify technical risks and propose mitigation strategies during solution design and implementation phases.
- Documentation & Standards:
- Document solution blueprints, integration models, data flows, and deployment patterns. Maintain alignment with enterprise architecture and platform standards.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Technical Expertise:
- Strong foundation in architecture principles with deep knowledge of finance-related platforms (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Workday Financials, NetSuite, Anaplan, Coupa, BlackLine, etc.).
- Finance Domain Knowledge:
- Understanding of key finance processes such as procure-to-pay (P2P), record-to-report (R2R), order-to-cash (O2C), budgeting, forecasting, and financial close.
- Solution Design Thinking:
- Ability to analyze complex business needs and translate them into integrated technology solutions with a product mindset.
- Strong Communication:
- Effectively convey architectural decisions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, influencing decisions and driving alignment.
- Problem Solving & Critical Thinking:
- Demonstrated ability to diagnose complex issues, assess multiple options, and implement effective solutions.
- Project & Agile Awareness:
- Experience working in Agile or hybrid delivery models, understanding of DevOps and CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
- Collaboration & Leadership:
- Proven ability to work in a matrixed environment with global teams, leading by influence and promoting a shared vision.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
- TOGAF, AWS/GCP/Azure Architect Certification, or equivalent
- Experience in global enterprise-scale finance transformation programs
- Experience with ServiceNow platform and/or similar platform systems.
- Exposure to finance data models and reporting platforms (Power BI, Tableau, etc.)
- Familiarity with API-led integration (MuleSoft, Boomi), RPA, and AI/ML use cases in finance
