Key Responsibilities:
Act as the primary technical advisor for large, strategic client accounts, guiding their
adoption of Databricks solutions.
Lead customers through their data transformation journey, helping evaluate and
embed Databricks into their strategic initiatives.
Design and execute account-specific technical strategies, ensuring alignment with
client objectives.
Foster relationships with client stakeholders and build a network of technical
champions to advocate for Databricks within the organization.
Partner with internal teams to align Databricks offerings with client needs, driving
impactful outcomes.
Provide mentorship and technical guidance to peers and junior team members,
promoting a culture of innovation and excellence.
Qualifications and Experience:
Experience: 15+ years in technical architecture or consulting roles, with significant
experience managing large, global accounts (>$1M ARR).
Big Data Engineering: Expertise with tools and technologies like Apache Spark,
Hadoop, and Kafka.
Data Warehousing & ETL: Strong knowledge of SQL, OLTP/OLAP systems, and data
pipeline architectures.
Data Science & Machine Learning: Hands-on experience with tools such as pandas,
scikit-learn, and techniques like hyperparameter optimization (HPO).
Data Applications Expertise: Proficiency in building solutions for use cases like logs
analysis, threat detection, real-time monitoring, and risk analysis.
Proven ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable technical
solutions, driving stakeholder alignment at all levels.
Development Skills: Proficiency in languages like Python, Scala, Java, or R, with
experience in debugging and software development.
Cloud Expertise: Demonstrated experience with cloud platforms such as AWS,
Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Education: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Applied Mathematics,
Operations Research, or a related field.
Preferred Skills:
Certification: Databricks certification is highly desirable.
Soft Skills: Strong communication, problem-solving, and client-facing skills to build
