Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Must be a resident of Puerto Rico.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience (One of the following combinations is required):
- 5+ years of professional experience in the design, development, and implementation of enterprise applications.
- 4+ years of professional experience and a cloud certification (e.g., Developer, Architect, or DevOps).
- 4+ years of professional experience and a Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
Technologies and Skills (Y ou must have at least one for each area) :
- Cloud Computing: 2+ years of experience with AWS (preferred) or Azure.
- Enterprise Development: 5+ years of experience building and maintaining high-demand systems including front-end, back-end, and service layer.
- Web Development: 5+ years of experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, XML, JSON, and Java or Python full-stack frameworks.
- Database Development: 3+ years of experience with relational and geospatial databases such as MySQL, SQL Server, or Oracle/PLSQL, including stored procedures, views, and triggers.
- Object-Oriented Development: 5+ years of experience using Java.
- Software Design: 3+ years of experience with design patterns, MVC frameworks, and design documents.
- Interface Development: 3+ years of experience with REST Services and service brokers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute throughout the full software development lifecycle - from ideation to deployment-and provide post-production support.
- Estimate development time frames for assigned projects to ensure accurate planning and timely delivery.
- Create technical design documentation for both internal and outsourced teams. This includes maintaining detailed records, hosting in-person meetings, and conducting follow-ups to ensure product quality.
- Analyze software performance, troubleshoot issues, and propose solutions that align with requirements.
- Collaborate with testers and support personnel to identify and resolve bugs or system issues.
- Lead and mentor Software Developers I and II, guiding them in project execution.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor.

- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and respond effectively to customer needs.
