  • Design and implement secure backend services and APIs that protect sensitive health information and support scalable, reliable clinical workflows

  • Translate product requirements into technical solutions, identify risks early, and deliver features through iterative development

  • Write clean, well-tested, and maintainable code, participate in code reviews, and contribute to engineering best practices across the team

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience with backend development in APIs and with interacting with relational databases (RESTful APIs, Postgres)

  • Experience working with asynchronous workers (Kafka, SQS)

  • Experience writing tests and documenting code for a variety of audiences

  • An innate passion for approaching large-scale problems through small, data-informed, and experiment-driven iterations

  • You are experienced in mentoring engineers in best practices in software development

  • You thrive in a fast-paced and data-driven environment

  • You are a team player who thrives on continuous learning and direct feedback
