About the Role
At SharkNinja, we create intelligent, connected products that delight consumers and disrupt categories. We're building a unified React Native app ecosystem that connects consumers to all SharkNinja devices-from robotic vacuums to kitchen appliances. Quality isn't just a phase in our development process; it's a mindset embedded in everything we build.
We're seeking a Senior SDET who is passionate about quality engineering and thrives at all levels of testing-from architecting automation frameworks to hands-on exploratory testing with real devices. You'll work at the intersection of software quality, mobile development, and connected devices, helping define testing standards while staying close to the product and our consumers' experiences.
Come help us build confidence in every release while enabling rapid iteration and continuous delivery. You'll work with cross-functional teams spanning mobile, cloud, firmware, and hardware to deliver consumer-ready connected product experiences that work flawlessly from day one.
Key Responsibilities• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for React Native mobile applications across iOS and Android platforms• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines integrating automated tests for continuous testing and deployment• Develop comprehensive test strategies and perform hands-on quality validation including exploratory testing and device connectivity testing• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality is built into product designs while remaining flexible to contribute wherever testing efforts are needed most• Champion quality practices and mentor team members on testing best practices and automation techniques
What You'll Bring• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience)• 4+ years of experience in software quality engineering with hands-on experience using at least one mobile test automation framework (Appium, Detox, or similar)• Programming experience with TypeScript, JavaScript, or similar languages; comfortable writing and maintaining test code• Experience with API testing, CI/CD concepts, and working in Agile/Scrum environments• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities• Passion for delivering exceptional user experiences and willingness to validate quality at all levels
Preferred Qualifications• Experience testing React Native or cross-platform mobile applications• Knowledge of connected device ecosystems, IoT products, or BLE/WiFi connectivity protocols• Familiarity with network debugging tools (Charles Proxy, Proxyman), mocking frameworks, and API tools (Postman, curl)• Background testing consumer electronics, smart home devices, or robotics products• Experience with cloud testing platforms, performance testing tools, or AI-powered testing platforms

Salary and Other Compensation: The annual salary range for this position is displayed below. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

Pay Range
$90,000-$135,000 USD
