About JORDYSKIN

JORDYSKIN is a founder-led skincare brand built at the intersection of beauty, sport, and everyday performance. Our electrolyte- and mineral-powered skincare makes daily care simple, effective, and accessible.

We’re looking for a creative, hands-on Social Media & Content Manager to shape our social presence, bring our brand story to life, and build an engaged community.

About the Role

You’ll own JORDYSKIN’s social channels—from content strategy and creative direction to content creation, publishing, and daily community management. Working closely with our founders, you’ll turn brand priorities, product benefits, and cultural insights into content that builds awareness, connection, and sales.

This role requires someone who can set the creative vision and execute it: concept a shoot, capture and edit content, write compelling copy, and engage thoughtfully with our community.

What You’ll Do

Social Strategy & Content Planning

  • Develop and manage our social strategy across Instagram, TikTok, and emerging platforms.
  • Own the content calendar, balancing product education, founder storytelling, skincare routines, community content, and brand campaigns.
  • Translate launches, promotions, and business priorities into clear content plans.
  • Identify relevant trends and cultural moments that fit JORDYSKIN’s voice and audience.

Content Creation & Creative Direction

  • Concept, shoot, and edit short-form video, photography, Stories, and other social assets.
  • Art direct content shoots, developing concepts, mood boards, shot lists, and styling direction.
  • Establish a consistent visual identity and brand voice across social channels.
  • Partner with founders, creators, photographers, and other collaborators to produce engaging content.
  • Write captions, video scripts, and creative briefs that make product benefits clear and compelling.
  • Source and repurpose creator and user-generated content with appropriate permissions.

Community Management

  • Manage daily engagement across comments, direct messages, tags, and mentions.
  • Build relationships with customers, creators, and brand advocates through timely, personal responses.
  • Coordinate with customer service to resolve order concerns and escalate sensitive questions.
  • Bring community feedback, recurring questions, and customer insights into future content and brand decisions.
  • Encourage conversation, reviews, and community participation.

Channel Management & Performance

  • Own scheduling, publishing, and day-to-day channel execution.
  • Track performance across reach, engagement, video retention, community growth, traffic, and sales where measurable.
  • Share regular reports with clear insights and recommendations.
  • Test new formats, hooks, and storytelling approaches, using results to improve the content strategy.
  • Maintain an organized library of content, creative assets, and usage permissions.

What You Bring

  • 3+ years of experience in social media, content creation, or digital brand marketing, ideally within beauty, skincare, wellness, or lifestyle.
  • A portfolio demonstrating strong visual taste, short-form storytelling, and hands-on content production.
  • Experience growing and managing an engaged social community.
  • Proficiency with tools such as CapCut, Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or comparable editing platforms.
  • Strong copywriting skills and the ability to translate product information into accessible, engaging content.
  • Comfort directing shoots and working with founders, talent, and creators.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects in a growing business.
  • An understanding of responsible beauty messaging, including approved product claims and transparent creator disclosures.

What Success Looks Like

  • A distinctive, consistent social presence that reflects JORDYSKIN.
  • A reliable cadence of high-quality content that educates, entertains, and inspires.
  • An active community that feels heard and connected to the brand.
  • Measurable growth in awareness, engagement, qualified traffic, and customer acquisition.
  • Clear insights that help us make better creative and business decisions.

How to Apply

Please submit your resume, portfolio or examples of social channels you’ve managed, and a brief note about why you’re interested in JORDYSKIN. Highlight your specific role in the work shared, including strategy, creative direction, production, editing, or community management.

  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
