We believe our people are the heartbeat of everything we do—a diverse community of ambitious humans driven to make a meaningful impact on the world, on each other, and on the communities we call home.

Role Overview

We’re looking for a highly organized, relationship-driven Social Affiliate & Influencer Marketing Specialist to help grow and activate our creator, ambassador, and affiliate network.

This role will focus on the day-to-day execution required to turn creator partnerships into a scalable acquisition and revenue channel — identifying the right creators, managing outreach and onboarding, supporting product seeding and campaigns, driving consistent content creation, and optimizing affiliate performance.

The ideal candidate is equally comfortable building relationships with creators and working in the details: managing a pipeline, following up relentlessly, tracking links and codes, reviewing performance, and identifying which partners and content are driving results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Creator & affiliate recruitment: Identify, source, and recruit high-potential creators and affiliates across priority social platforms, with an emphasis on partners who demonstrate strong audience trust and conversion potential (DTC focus) — not simply reach.
  • Outreach & relationship management: Own creator outreach, follow-up, onboarding, gifting/seeding coordination, and ongoing communication to keep partners engaged and activated.
  • Affiliate activation: Support the growth of our social affiliate program, including affiliate setup, links/codes, incentives, campaign communication, and partner activation through platforms such as Superfiliate.
  • Creator pipeline management: Maintain an organized pipeline of prospects, active creators, ambassadors, and affiliates; track status, deliverables, performance, and next steps.
  • Content generation: Drive a consistent flow of creator-led video and UGC by communicating briefs, following up on deliverables, and helping creators develop strong, brand-aligned content.
  • Product launches: Support creator seeding for new product launches, helping generate early content, testimonials, social proof, and affiliate activity.
  • Performance optimization: Track creator- and affiliate-level performance, identify top-performing partners and content, and recommend opportunities to increase activation, revenue, and efficiency.
  • Partner development: Help identify high-potential creators who can progress from product seeding/community participation into ambassador and higher-performing affiliate relationships.
  • Content insights: Identify recurring high-performing hooks, formats, messaging, and creator profiles and share actionable learnings with the broader marketing team.
  • Compliance: Ensure creator content follows established brand, claims, sourcing, and disclosure guidelines.

What Success Looks Like

Success in this role would be measured against a focused set of outcomes, including:

  • Growth in the number of active, revenue-generating social affiliates
  • Increased affiliate-attributed DTC revenue
  • Consistent recruitment and activation of high-quality creator partners
  • Growth in revenue per active affiliate
  • Increased volume of usable creator video/UGC
  • Strong creator participation in priority product launches
  • Improved speed from creator outreach/seeding to content and first conversion
  • Consistent creator pipeline management and follow-through
  • 100% adherence to brand and compliance guidelines

Requirements

Ideal Background

We’re looking for someone with:

  • 2–5+ years of experience in influencer marketing, affiliate marketing, creator partnerships, social commerce, or a related field
  • Hands-on experience recruiting and managing influencers, creators, ambassadors, and/or affiliates
  • Experience with affiliate or creator-management platforms; Superfiliate experience is a plus
  • Strong understanding of TikTok, Instagram/Meta, and emerging creator platforms
  • A performance mindset and comfort working with metrics such as revenue, conversion, CAC, affiliate activation, and content performance
  • Excellent written communication and creator relationship-management skills
  • Strong project management skills and an ability to manage a high volume of outreach and follow-up without losing attention to detail
  • Experience with consumer brands; experience in wellness, beauty, food/beverage, or other regulated categories is a plus
  • An entrepreneurial, test-and-learn approach and comfort operating in a fast-moving environment

What you need to know about the Boston Tech Scene

Boston is a powerhouse for technology innovation thanks to world-class research universities like MIT and Harvard and a robust pipeline of venture capital investment. Host to the first telephone call and one of the first general-purpose computers ever put into use, Boston is now a hub for biotechnology, robotics and artificial intelligence — though it’s also home to several B2B software giants. So it’s no surprise that the city consistently ranks among the greatest startup ecosystems in the world.

Key Facts About Boston Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 269,000; 9.4% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Thermo Fisher Scientific, Toast, Klaviyo, HubSpot, DraftKings
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, biotechnology, robotics, software, aerospace
  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Summit Partners, Volition Capital, Bain Capital Ventures, MassVentures, Highland Capital Partners
  • Research Centers and Universities: MIT, Harvard University, Boston College, Tufts University, Boston University, Northeastern University, Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, National Bureau of Economic Research, Broad Institute, Lowell Center for Space Science & Technology, National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories
