We are looking for Skillbridge Candidates for our Operations and Training Specialist position and to join our team in Herndon, VA. This position reports to the Program Manager.


The Operations & Training Specialist will support the project management team to support daily operations management, scheduling, staffing, tracking travel document expiration dates, invoicing, ensuring personnel are current on training requirements, making travel arrangements for program personnel, and other miscellaneous tasks. Working with the management team, the position also contributes to the development and implementation of organizational strategies, policies, and practices.


The Operations and Training Specialist will be responsible for the following:

  • Assist with travel coordination, develop training schedules for personnel, and validate that requirements are compliant for personnel to provide support.
  • Ensure position suitability requirements are met.
  • Participate in issue resolution actions.
  • Provide recruiting support for program personnel.
  • Reconcile and code travel expenses.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications:

  • Must have at minimum a High School Diploma or equivalent. A college degree is preferred.
  • Must possess at least three (3) years’ of operations administration experience.
  • Highly proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and Outlook
  • Ability to demonstrate professional communication via verbal, written, and email correspondence in English.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening and periodic random drug screening.
  • U.S. Citizenship

Required Security Clearance:

  • Minimum of a U.S. Government Secret clearance

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to work at a desk using computers and other typical office equipment for extended periods, up to 8 hours per day.
