About the Role 

The Performance marketing team is looking for an intern to support our SEO manager in execution of our SEO strategy. This person will be motivated, hardworking, and detail oriented. This role is ideal for a current college student or recent graduate who is interested in marketing, communications, digital media, or a related field and wants hands-on experience with SEO/AEO. They will join an energetic team and help drive our SEO strategy forward. 

This is a hybrid position requiring onsite presence at our headquarters in Newton, MA.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Assist in Google My Business optimizations – differentiate descriptions and meta data, build out services, upload new photos for all child care centers in GMB 
  • Audit duplicate site content and archive in Sitecore  
  • Assist in audit of meta data across key site pages and optimize where needed 
  • Help make minor page updates and optimizations in Sitecore – update H1/H2, swap images, update KWs, add alt text, etc. 
  • Facilitate in FAQ rollout 
  • Troubleshoot incorrectly indexed pages 

Minimum Qualifications: 

  • Currently enrolled in college as a full-time or part-time student pursuing a degree in marketing or related field

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Knowledge of SEO and AI search trends a plus 
  • Knowledge of copilot or other AI tools and the ability to use it to build out content  
  • Detail oriented and excellent communication skills 
  • Organized, dependable, and able to manage multiple tasks 
  • Curious, proactive, and eager to learn

Compensation:

The hourly rate for this position is between $15.00-$30.00. The pay range listed here is what Bright Horizons in good faith anticipates offering for this job opening. Actual compensation offers within this range will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education and training, certifications, geography, and other relevant business or organizational factors.
