Overview
The SVP, PMO will lead the Program Management Office for our Product Development organization. This executive will drive consistent, disciplined, and scalable program execution across the end-to-end product development lifecycle, from concept to consumer launch. This role requires a strategic, highly detail-oriented leader with the ability to anticipate and resolve issues proactively to serve complex, cross-functional and roadmap initiatives.

Overview
The SVP, PMO will lead the Program Management Office for our Product Development organization. This executive will drive consistent, disciplined, and scalable program execution across the end-to-end product development lifecycle, from concept to consumer launch. This role requires a strategic, highly detail-oriented leader with the ability to anticipate and resolve issues proactively to serve complex, cross-functional and roadmap initiatives.

Strategic Leadership
- Establish and scale the PMO as a strategic business partner across Product Development, R&D, Engineering, Supply Chain, Marketing, and Commercial teams.
- Design and implement a centralized governance with category- or product-specific flexibility.
- Define and continuously improve program management standards, processes, and tools to deliver consistent execution excellence.
- Act as a thought partner to the CPO and the CoS to align portfolio priorities, resource allocation, and risk mitigation.
- Facilitate structured escalation paths and risk mitigation
Program Execution Excellence
- Drive the planning, prioritization, and delivery of complex product initiatives from ideation through launch.
- Ensure robust program governance, milestone discipline, and metrics-driven tracking.
- Identify and mitigate risks early, resolving issues before they escalate to protect timelines, budgets, and product quality.
- Maintain visibility across multiple, concurrent projects and intervene as needed to accelerate progress or remove obstacles.
- Own project lifecycle, gate reviews, status dashboards
- Manage execution handoffs, dependencies, and risk across functions
Cross-Functional Partnership
- Lead and inspire a high-performing, unstoppable PMO team, providing direction, coaching, and professional growth.
- Align cross-functional timelines and resources across in-flight programs
- Build relationships with senior stakeholders to foster a culture of accountability, transparency, and collaboration.
Operational and Change Management
- Promote continuous improvement practices within the PMO to enhance efficiency and adaptability.
- Enable adoption of program management tools, digital solutions, and analytics to increase visibility and predictability.
- Support change management efforts as new processes and systems are rolled out.
Here are some of the things you'll bring
- 10+ years of experience in program or hardware portfolio management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership capacity.
- Deep experience in consumer goods product development with end-to-end product lifecycle exposure.
- Proven track record building and running a centralized PMO in a complex, fast-paced organization.
- Exceptional ability to see around corners and anticipate issues before they impact program success.
- Strong strategic thinker with operational rigor; able to balance short-term problem-solving with long-term process design.
- Executive presence and the ability to influence and align senior stakeholders.
- Skilled in modern PMO tools and systems (e.g., portfolio management platforms, risk dashboards, resource planning).
- Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree (MBA, Engineering, or related) strongly preferred.
