  • Elevate an established, high-performing Consultant Relations function by improving strategy, operating cadence, market coverage, and commercial impact.
  • Lead, develop, and selectively scale the Consultant Relations team to deepen consultant engagement and strengthen national and local market influence.
  • Strengthen senior relationships across major consulting houses, including Mercer, WTW, Aon, Lockton, Gallagher, and other national and regional firms.
  • Partner closely with Sales to integrate Consultant Relations into the sales motion and translate consultant relationships into measurable pipeline, bookings, and engagement.
  • Provide strategic guidance to Sales and Client Success leaders on consultant-led opportunities, competitive positioning, and deal strategy.
  • Serve as a senior external voice for Hello Heart in the consultant market through executive meetings, national consultant gatherings, market events, and strategic onsite conversations.
  • Bring consultant feedback, market intelligence, and competitive insights back into Hello Heart’s go-to-market strategy.
  • Work with Consultant Relations, Marketing, Sales, Product, and Client Success to create consultant-specific outreach, messaging, enablement, and market engagement plans.
  • Use data, consultant feedback, and market insights to measure progress against the strategic plan and guide new tactics.
  • Work collaboratively across the team to grow Hello Heart’s consultant footprint and strengthen our position in the employee benefits market.

Qualifications

  • AI fluency, including the ability to use AI tools and agent-based workflows to improve productivity, strengthen market research, synthesize consultant insights, and support strategic planning.
  • 5+ years of experience directly leading Consultant Relations, with proven experience owning national consultant strategy.
  • 12+ years of experience in employee benefits, benefits consulting, healthcare, digital health, or an adjacent business.
  • Deep relationships across major consulting houses, including active senior relationships with national and regional consultants.
  • Proven experience building, managing, and developing high-performing Consultant Relations teams.
  • Strong commercial orientation, with clear experience influencing pipeline, bookings, sales strategy, and revenue outcomes.
  • Strong partnership with Sales and experience integrating Consultant Relations into a measurable sales motion.
  • Extensive knowledge of the employee benefits industry and how consultants evaluate, recommend, and influence vendor decisions.
  • Strong presentation and storytelling skills, with the ability to speak in front of an audience and convey deep expertise in the market and in Hello Heart’s unique offerings.
  • Experience partnering with Marketing and Sales to develop consultant-specific messaging and enablement.
  • Willingness to travel regularly, up to 50% of the time domestically.
