Our challenge

We are seeking an experienced and hands-on UX Designer with over 7 years of industry experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in designing user-centered digital solutions, demonstrating excellent communication skills, and proficiency with industry-standard design tools.

Additional Information*

The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within New York, NY is $125k - $135k/year & benefits (see below).

The Role

Responsibilities:

• Lead the end-to-end UX design process for web and mobile applications, including research, discovery, ideation, prototyping, and user testing.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams such as product managers, developers, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into compelling user experiences.
• Develop wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that align with user needs and business goals.
• Conduct usability testing and gather actionable insights to refine designs.
• Advocate for user-centered design principles across the organization to ensure an optimal user experience.
• Maintain comprehensive design documentation and ensure consistency across projects.

Requirements:

• 7+ years of experience in UX Design within the financial services industry.
• Strong portfolio showcasing design process and deliverables.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Hands-on experience with modern design tools such as Figma.
• Knowledge of analytics and user engagement.
• Familiarity with web development fundamentals (HTML, CSS) is a plus.
• Ability to manage multiple projects efficiently and meet deadlines.
