Title: Senior UX Designer

Responsibilities:

Design:

  • Produce deliverables on programs of medium size with little oversight
  • Translate concepts into user flows, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes that lead to intuitive user experiences
  • Facilitate the client’s product vision by researching conceiving, sketching, prototyping, and user-testing experiences for digital products
  • Design and deliver wireframes, user stories, user journeys, and wireframe mockups optimized for a wide range of devices and interfaces
  • Solid grasp of user-centered design, rapid prototyping, heuristic and competitive analysis, usability, accessibility concerns and functional specifications
  • Ability to communicate design processes, ideas, and solutions clearly and effectively to teams and clients
  • Strong understanding of atomic theory, systems, and practices
  • Experience collaborating with cross functional teams on sketching, concept creation and wire framing, producing sitemaps and user flows, creating clickable prototypes
  • Partner with strategy teams to plan usability testing sessions and collaborate with UX Designers to deliver artifacts for testing

Data interpretation:

  • Utilize user insight, analytics, best practice, competitor analysis to inform design decisions
  • Perform site/application audits and analyze data from various measurement tools to provide insights on user behavior and design recommendation (e.g., heuristics)
  • Formulate concepts and requirements into a strategic approach, including IA and UX artifacts such as sitemaps, user journey maps, process flows, user personas, wireframes, and prototypes to guide the strategic vision and development hand-offs

Best practice and design consistency:

  • Take a user-centered design approach and iterate designs
  • Research and share industry trends, competitors, and comparable experiences
  • Drive design standards and patterns across channels and products
  • Use UX design best practices to design solutions
  • Proven ability to guide design work from planning through to delivery consistent with design and brand standards, analytics, insights, and audience feedback
  • Proactively find ways to maximize the efficiency of workflow between strategy, design, and development within the established agency process, e.g., Waterfall, Agile
  • Familiarity with a design system approach

Technical Knowledge:

  • Sound knowledge of web and mobile technologies
  • Fluent in responsive design approaches
  • Experience working within the constraints of a CMS platform (e.g., AEM, Drupal etc.)

Design Specification:

  • Collaborates as appropriate on creating user stories or other deliverables to define development tasks (e.g., functional specifications, UAT review etc.)

Requirements:

  • Proven experience leading the UX practice on projects at various stages within a product life cycle (e.g., discovery, definition, development, deployment)
  • A creative problem solver with a knack for fresh ideas and a new perspective
  • Experience designing UX for large- and small-scale websites, email, mobile and desktop applications
  • Expertise in human interface guidelines, standards, and best practices as they apply to platforms
  • Fluency in appropriate software to create professional-quality, well-designed deliverables

    • Adobe Suite (XD and InDesign required, Illustrator and Photoshop a plus)
    • Sketch (a plus)
    • InVision
    • Microsoft Office Suite
    • JIRA (a plus)
  • Knowledge of the WCAG 2.1 guidelines and accessibility best practices

The range below represents the low and high end of the base salary someone in this role may earn as an employee of an Omnicom Health Group company in the United States. Salaries will vary based on various factors including but not limited to professional and academic experience, training, associated responsibilities, and other business and organizational needs. The range listed is just one component of our total compensation package for employees. Salary decisions are dependent on the circumstances of each hire.

  •  SALARY RANGE -$1,25,000-$1,32,500
