We’re looking for a Senior Research Trainer to work on our PM Shift to help guide and lead the Research Team to meet all goals and expectations of the department. 

What You’ll Do:

  • training and developing new hires

  • cross-training employees from other departments

  • Identify sports cards and associated varieties (baseball, football, and all other major sports card releases)

  • Identify non-sports cards (vintage cards such as R145 Gum, Inc. Superman to Wacky Packs to modern releases like Pokémon and Yu-gi-oh)

  • Research by means of trade magazines, books and internet

  • Communicate effectively with other divisions

  • Maintains and updates database

  • Aid Leadership in creating an inspiring team environment

  • Set clear team goals

  • Support & help oversee the day-to-day operation

  • Monitor team performance and report on metrics

  • Motivate team members

  • Discover training needs and provide coaching

  • Listen to team members’ feedback and resolve any issues or conflicts/escalate when necessary

  • Suggest and organize team building activities

Who You Are:

  • Proven work experience as a team leader

  • In-depth knowledge of performance metrics

  • Good PC skills, especially MS Excel

  • Excellent communication and active listening skills 

  • Organizational and time-management skills

  • Decision-making skills

Physical Requirements:

  • Computer Use: Typing, mouse work, and sitting and looking at a computer potentially for long periods of time.

  • Hand Use: Regular hand use for various tasks.

  • Hearing Requirements: Ability to hear alarms, signals, and verbal instructions.

  • Lifting and Carrying: Ability to lift, carry, and move materials up to 25 pounds.

  • Sitting or Standing: Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time.

Hourly Rate: The reasonable estimated hourly rate for this position is $28. Actual compensation varies based on a variety of non-discriminatory factors, including location, job level, prior experience and skill set. This role may be eligible for bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation, please ask your recruiter for details.
