Join our high-performing Talent Acquisition team to drive hiring across highly specialized software and hardware engineering roles. You’ll work directly with engineering leadership to identify, attract, and hire exceptional candidates in areas critical to building autonomous mobile robots. The ideal candidate has a proven track record recruiting engineers in robotics, automation, or deep-tech environments and thrives in a fast-paced, innovative company.

This hybrid position is based at our Locus Park headquarters in Wilmington, MA. Local candidates only. The role requires onsite presence at least three days per week, with occasional travel to our Nashua, NH R&D office for onsite interviews.

Responsibilities

  • Lead full-cycle recruiting for engineering roles across robotics software and hardware disciplines, including Perception, Localization & Mapping, Simulation, Data Science, AI & Machine Learning, Electrical, Embedded Software, Mechanical, and Test Engineering.
  • Proactively source, engage, and evaluate top-tier engineering talent across North America and EMEA using creative, targeted strategies and data-driven sourcing plans to attract hard-to-find candidates.
  • Build trusted partnerships with engineering leadership to understand current and future technical hiring needs and advise on market trends.
  • Deliver an outstanding candidate experience, representing Locus Robotics’ culture, mission, and technical vision.
  • Negotiate competitive offers and close candidates efficiently.
  • Provide data-driven insights to hiring teams on pipeline health, market availability, and hiring progress.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience recruiting and sourcing for technical roles, successfully closing highly specialized engineering talent.
  • 1+ years of technical sourcing experience for robotics engineering roles, including software and hardware disciplines.
  • Expertise in creative sourcing using LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, Boolean search, and other advanced recruiting tools.
  • Deep familiarity with ATS platforms, including Greenhouse.
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and consultative skills with technical leaders.
  • Ability to manage multiple high-priority searches in a fast-paced, scaling environment.
  • Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage diverse audiences effectively.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
