What You'll Do
- Drive end-to-end execution of strategic data initiatives, data product enhancements, and cross-functional data initiatives.
- Define and own the data product vision for Chewy's enterprise core data assets.
- Build and prioritize the roadmap for data ingestion, transformation, governance, observability, and self-service capabilities.
- Build and maintain project plans, roadmaps, and landmarks, ensuring alignment across engineering pods and business partners.
- Partner with business collaborators and Technology teams to define requirements, communicate progress, and manage dependencies.
- Ensure programs adhere to EDS practices around data quality, lineage, access control, and observability.
- Proactively identify risks, dependencies, and blockers; work with teams to resolve them quickly and effectively.
- Track and communicate program health, status, and key outcomes to senior leadership and cross-functional collaborators.
- Continuously improve execution frameworks, onboarding practices, and reporting mechanisms for efficiency and scale.
What We're Looking For
- 6+ years in product management, with 3+ years in data platform, analytics, or technical product roles.
- Familiarity with modern data stacks (Snowflake, AWS, dbt, Airflow, Kafka, BI tools). Ability to engage deeply with engineering teams.
- Strong track record of defining roadmaps, writing PRDs, and delivering platform capabilities at scale.
- Excellent communication and ability to influence cross-functional teams.
- Customer-focused, data-driven, outcome-oriented, and able to balance short-term priorities with long-term vision.
- Jira, Confluence, or similar product management platforms.
