  • Use your customer-first attitude and expertise in search algorithms to guide the development and delivery of outstanding search experiences across Chewy.com.
  • Develop and maintain a roadmap and prioritized product backlog, ensuring alignment between product vision and both customer and business goals.
  • Lead the end-to-end product development process for search features, balancing product requirements with technical feasibility and complexity.

  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics), or equivalent technical experience. A Master's degree in a related field is preferred.
  • Strong experience in applying machine learning techniques and algorithms in a product setting.
  • Strong analytical abilities with experience in using data to drive product decisions.
  • Proven ability to manage and deliver highly technical products that are scalable and customer-focused.
  • Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition.
  • Strong business, operational, and technical vision.
  • Ability to articulate concepts at the executive level.

  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Summit Partners, Volition Capital, Bain Capital Ventures, MassVentures, Highland Capital Partners
  • Research Centers and Universities: MIT, Harvard University, Boston College, Tufts University, Boston University, Northeastern University, Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, National Bureau of Economic Research, Broad Institute, Lowell Center for Space Science & Technology, National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories
