About Port

At Port.io, we are building an open and flexible Agentic Engineering Platform for modern engineering organizations. Following our recent $100M Series C funding round, we are in a phase of rapid hypergrowth with strong enterprise momentum.

We act as the central nervous system for engineering, enabling platform teams to unify their stack and expose it as a governed layer through golden paths for developers and AI agents.

By combining rich engineering context, workflows, and actions, we help organizations transition from manual processes to autonomous, AI-assisted engineering workflows while maintaining control and accountability.

As a product-led company, we believe in building world-class platforms that fundamentally shape how modern engineering organizations operate.

Port is at an exciting stage of U.S. growth, and the people we hire now will define our trajectory. We're looking for a Talent Acquisition Partner who understands the B2B SaaS talent landscape deeply, sources with intention, and holds the bar high for candidates and for the hiring process itself. This is a high-ownership role for someone who takes recruiting seriously as a craft.

What You’ll Do

  • Drive full-cycle recruiting across GTM & Business functions: Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Partnerships, from first sourcing touch to signed offer.
  • Partner closely with hiring leaders to define what great actually looks like: role requirements, candidate profiles, and honest market realities.
  • Own the sourcing strategy: build pipelines proactively, not reactively. Find talent others miss through creative outreach and deep market insights.
  • Run a tight, respectful hiring process: structured interviews, clear feedback loops, and zero candidates left wondering what's going on.
  • Create a candidate experience that makes people excited about Port, regardless of the outcome.
  • Keep a pulse on the GTM talent market: who's moving, who's exceptional, what competitors are doing, and bring that intelligence to every search.
  • Champion Port's employer brand in every interaction, from the first LinkedIn message to the final offer call.

Who you are:

  • 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience in B2B SaaS. Ideally at a startup or high-growth scaleup where you built process.
  • Deep GTM fluency: you understand the difference between an SDR and an AE, what makes a great CSM and how they all work together.
  • A sourcer's mindset: You don't wait for inbounds. You know how to find and engage passive talent and make them genuinely interested.
  • Data-driven: You use data for actionable insights on hiring patterns and identifying areas for process improvement
  • Bias for action: You move fast, keep hiring managers informed, and own problems rather than escalate them.
  • Sharp operational instincts: you bring structure to ambiguity, track what matters, and iterate on process without waiting for permission.
  • Excellent communication skills and a people-first approach. Candidates remember how you made them feel.
  • Based in Boston or Austin, comfortable in-office 3 days/week

Nice to have:

  • Experience recruiting in the Developer Tools or IDP space
  • Experience working as part of a global team

What you need to know about the Boston Tech Scene

Host to the first telephone call and one of the first general-purpose computers ever put into use, Boston is now a hub for biotechnology, robotics and artificial intelligence — though it’s also home to several B2B software giants. So it’s no surprise that the city consistently ranks among the greatest startup ecosystems in the world.

  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
