Lead data migration projects involving analysis, mapping, transformation, and validation of data from legacy systems to Bridgeway's platform, collaborating with teams and mentoring juniors.
We’re looking for a Senior Systems Analyst to lead complex data migration efforts for our customers. In this role, you’ll own the end-to-end migration lifecycle – working directly with customers to analyze, map, transform, and validate data as it moves from legacy systems into Bridgeway’s platform.
This is a hands-on, customer-facing role for someone who is comfortable solving problems in real time and driving migrations to a successful go-live.
Responsibilities:
- Lead full-cycle data migrations across multiple customer projects (discovery → mapping → transformation → validation → go-live)
- Act as the primary technical contact for customers, guiding data strategy, surfacing risks, and managing expectations
- Collaborate with Business Analysts and other Professional Services teams to understand data requirements, provide data analyses to assist with the configuration of our software, and accurately map data to meet customer needs
- Analyze and validate large, complex datasets using advanced SQL
- Build and execute ETL/ELT processes (SSIS, Talend, Informatica, or similar)
- Develop data mapping logic, transformation rules, and validation strategies
- Identify and resolve data quality issues through profiling, cleansing, and root cause analysis
- Work across file formats (CSV, Excel) to support data exchange
- Plan and execute cutover activities, including go-live coordination and validation sign-off
- Partner with internal teams to troubleshoot issues and ensure accurate data delivery
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to improving migration processes and standards
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in data migration, warehousing, systems analysis, or ETL-focused roles
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Advanced SQL or Python skills (complex queries, joins, performance tuning)
- Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT tools (SSIS preferred)
- Experience with scripting (Python or PowerShell) for automation
- Proven ability to manage multiple migrations at once without dropping the ball
- Strong customer-facing communication skills—you can explain technical issues without hiding behind jargon
- Use and understanding of data dictionaries, source to target mapping, and relational database concepts required
- High attention to detail and a problem-solving mindset
- Exposure to AI for data analysis, validation, or development a plus
- Databricks, Snowflake or similar a plus
Bridgeway is an equal opportunity employer.
