Location:  Tempe, Arizona

At GoDaddy the future of work looks different for each team. Some teams work in the office full-time; others have a hybrid arrangement (they work remotely some days and in the office some days) and some work entirely remotely.​This is an in-office position, and you’ll be expected to work full-time in our Tempe, Arizona location, and therefore must live within commuting distance from your assigned office. You will work from this office beginning on your first day.

This leader will be responsible for driving acquisition, accelerating customer value, and enabling sellers to consistently exceed targets. The ideal candidate blends strong operational rigor with the ability to develop talent, coach with intention, and execute against aggressive growth goals.

What you'll get to do...

  • Lead and develop a frontline team of sales supervisors and sellers focused on driving high velocity merchant acquisition and activation.
  • Build a performance system anchored in accountability, coaching consistency, and data-driven decision making.
  • Partner closely with Marketing, Product, Sales Operations, and Customer Success to optimize lead flow, activation, and lifetime value.
  • Monitor and manage critical KPIs including win rate, speed to first payment, aGPV, GCR contribution, adherence, and call effectiveness.
  • Execute strategic initiatives to improve funnel conversion, seller productivity, and customer outcomes.
  • Drive day-to-day operational rhythm including pipeline reviews, coaching sessions, calibration meetings, and performance reporting.
  • Recruit, onboard, and grow top tier sales talent to support a rapidly scaling commerce organization.
  • Ensure compliance with sales processes, compensation structures, and operational standards.
  • Foster a culture that champions the customer and operates with urgency, ownership, and integrity.

Your experience should include...

  • At least 5 years of proven high performance and leadership experience at a SaaS, fintech, payments, or merchant services organization.
  • Demonstrated success leading inbound or outbound sales teams with strong results in conversion rate, productivity, and customer value creation.
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, economics, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical acumen with experience interpreting sales metrics, forecasting, and using CRM data to guide execution.
  • Ability to lead in a fast-paced environment with high expectations and rapid growth goals.
  • Excellent communication, coaching, and people development skills.
  • Ability to work on site and lead in person.

You might also have...

  • Experience scaling sales teams in a high growth environment.
  • Familiarity with payments ecosystems, merchant acquisition flows, and card present/card not present products.
  • Experience partnering with Sales Operations on comp, reporting, and process design.
  • Background with AI-enabled sales tools or automation platforms.
