Who We Are

Verily Health is a data platform and technology company purpose-built to power AI-enabled precision health solutions that accelerate research and improve care for individuals and communities. Uniquely positioned at the intersection of technology, data science, and healthcare, Verily transforms multimodal health data into insights, models, and actions that make healthcare more personalized, predictive, and precise.

Description

Verily Pre is our AI-native precision health platform, purpose-built to help the entire healthcare ecosystem activate complex multimodal data for advanced AI, research, and better patient care. Within the Pre portfolio, Verily Workbench is our enterprise-grade Trusted Research Environment (TRE): a secure, multi-cloud workspace for biomedical data analysis and AI/ML development.

We are hiring a Principal Product Manager to own the Verily Workbench commercial solution. Your job is to translate Verily’s platform investments into differentiated marketing offerings. You will lead a cross-functional team to define, deliver and scale Workbench solution bundles for our priority market segments. In the process you will work to identify the right problems to solve and value propositions to highlight for each segment, develop solution pricing and competitive positioning, and find ways to accelerate time to value for our customers. Additionally, you will be the primary voice bringing market-driven product requirements back to teams across Verily. To be successful, you will need to partner closely with teams building the core Pre platform, and leaders across other functions including Commercial, Marketing, Engineering, and Delivery.

This role reports directly to the VP of Product Management for Verily, along with product managers responsible for adjacent solutions including Exchange (data marketplace) and Refinery (multimodal data curation). Preferred locations are Verily’s hub offices in Boston, MA and Waterloo, Canada; candidates will also be considered in the San Bruno and Mountain View, CA hub offices.

Responsibilities
  • Translate customer discovery feedback and market requirements into prioritized commercial features for the Pre platform roadmap.

  • Design pricing models, packaging, and solution bundles tailored to priority market segments like life sciences and health systems.

  • Develop repeatable delivery playbooks alongside Technical Solutions Engineering to accelerate implementation and time-to-value for new customers.

  • Create high-impact product demos, positioning guides, and sales enablement materials to support the commercial team in closing strategic deals.

  • Coordinate across adjacent product teams (such as Exchange and Refinery) to ensure Workbench's commercial priorities inform the broader platform strategy.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Experience: 10+ years of experience in technical or outbound product management, specifically managing market-facing enterprise software solutions.

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

  • Commercial Strategy: Proven experience designing go-to-market plans, solution packaging, or pricing strategies for cloud-based data or analytics platforms.

  • Customer Execution: Demonstrated background leading customer-facing discovery, managing strategic client relationships, or executing lighthouse customer deployments.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Domain Expertise: Deep experience with Trusted Research Environments (TREs), biomedical data analysis, or healthcare research informatics (e.g., life sciences, health systems).

  • Cloud & AI Infrastructure Knowledge: Working familiarity with multi-cloud architectures (GCP, AWS, Azure) and AI/ML tooling tailored for biomedical workloads.

  • Regulatory Familiarity: Understanding of data governance frameworks and compliance standards for sensitive healthcare data (such as HIPAA, GxP, SOC 2, and FedRAMP).

  • Monetization Experience: Direct experience designing pricing, packaging, or tiered access models for complex, enterprise-scale technical platforms.

  • Collaborative Leadership: Outstanding cross-functional skills with a knack for building consensus across Product, Engineering, Marketing, Finance, and Legal.
