Snyk is the leader in secure AI software development, helping millions of developers develop fast and stay secure as AI transforms how software is built. Our AI-native Developer Security Platform integrates seamlessly into development and security workflows, making it easy to find, fix, and prevent vulnerabilities — from code and dependencies to containers and cloud.
Our mission is to empower every developer to innovate securely in the AI era — boosting productivity while reducing business risk. We’re not your average security company - we build Snyk on One Team, Care Deeply, Customer Centric, and Forward Thinking.
It’s how we stay driven, supportive, and always one step ahead as AI reshapes our world.
Why this role?
Our Solutions Architecture & SME team is seeking a new team member to support our go-to-market efforts. The Solution Architect is first and foremost a subject matter expert in Application Security testing (SAST, SCA, DAST, etc) and/or agentic software development & building AI-native applications.
You will partner with pre-sales teams and leverage this technical expertise to define “big picture” solution architecture that’s both grounded in technical realities and drives the conversation into Business Value Realization strategies. As a key strategic advisor, you will bridge the gap between developer workflows and C-suite priorities, quantifying Snyk’s ROI and securing our position as a mission-critical partner across the global Enterprise landscape.
You will partner closely with pre-sales teams, but your expertise and ability to deliver anything from a deep dive into technology to a compelling session for C-level executives is also leveraged in post-sales and cross-functional initiatives with departments like Product, Engineering, Marketing and Enablement.
What You’ll Do:
Drive Deals and Revenue: Partner closely with Account Executives & Solutions Engineers on large deals and progress deals of all sizes by addressing customer's technical concerns through deep-dive sessions. Work closely with sales leaders to drive revenue through new sales campaigns and removing deal-specific roadblocks.
Create Solution Architecture: “big picture” solution architecture that’s both grounded in technical realities and drives the conversation into Business Value Realization strategies. Gain alignment amongst customer stakeholders on it and then own this big picture into post-sales.
Be a Technical Enabler: Leverage your technical expertise to unblock both pre-sales and post-sales account teams behind the scenes, and contribute to the global Solutions Engineering community of practice through mentorship and influence.
Influence Product Strategy: Capture, distill, and prioritize field feedback and share with the Product team. Build influential, productive relationships with engineering and product teams to address gaps, double down on strengths, and steer product direction.
Create and Deliver Compelling Content: Create and confidently deliver innovative content and technical presentations on product positioning, differentiators, and best practices for Snykers, business partners, and customers. This includes speaking to and engaging large audiences (50+ attendees) both in-person and virtually.
What You Bring:
5+ years of Solutions Engineering or Solution Architect experience, including $1 million+ opportunities, with a track record of aligning technical solutions with complex business challenges
At least some hands-on Software Development and Application Security experience
Exceptional communication skills with the ability to navigate high-pressure security objections and build rapport with executive leadership
A deep technical understanding of the software development lifecycle, cloud-native architectures, and modern DevOps ecosystems
Have direct experience with agentic software development and building AI-native applications
You have led cross-functional teams on key projects and can create alignment, rally resources, and delight stakeholders
Experience working with Financial and Insurance organizations is a bonus
