Tomorrow.io's Customer Team makes it possible for weather-sensitive industries — including aviation, logistics, supply chain, public sector, energy, and field operations — to operate faster than the speed of weather.

At Tomorrow.io, we’re looking for a rare type of architect: someone who doesn’t stop at design.

We want a hands-on builder who can take a business challenge, design a solution, build the application, deploy it to production, and drive measurable outcomes.

You’ll work directly with customers and internal teams to create AI powered solutions, applications, automations, and workflows that solve real operational problems. This role combines solution architecture, software engineering, cloud technologies, and AI to deliver business impact.

What You’ll Do
  • Work with customers and internal stakeholders to identify high value business opportunities
  • Design scalable technical solutions leveraging Tomorrow.io’s platform and modern cloud technologies
  • Build and deploy full stack applications, integrations, and AI powered tools
  • Develop internal and customer facing solutions using modern software engineering practices
  • Apply AI technologies to automate workflows and improve decision making
  • Own projects from requirements through production deployment
What We’re Looking For
  • 8+ years of experience in software engineering, solution architecture, technical consulting, or related technical roles
  • Proven experience building and shipping production software
  • Strong full stack development experience, including modern frontend and backend technologies
  • Experience designing APIs, integrations, and cloud native applications
  • Hands-on experience with AWS, GCP, Azure, or similar cloud platforms
  • Experience applying AI technologies such as LLMs, agents, workflow automation, or AI powered applications
  • Comfortable owning the full lifecycle of a solution from requirements and architecture through implementation, deployment, and operations
  • Strong communication skills and confidence working directly with customers and senior stakeholders
The Ideal Candidate

You are someone who:

  • Can build a full stack application from scratch and deploy it to production
  • Is comfortable working across frontend, backend, cloud infrastructure, and AI technologies
  • Enjoys solving business problems as much as writing code
  • Can move from a rough idea or requirement to a production ready solution with minimal guidance
  • Thrives in environments where ownership, speed, and creativity matter
Why This Role Is Different

Most architects design.

Most engineers build.

This role does both.

You’ll have the opportunity to work directly with customers, shape technical strategy, and build AI powered solutions that create real world impact.

If you have reached this point and you are super excited but not sure you check all the boxes - we still want to speak with you! Your passion is priceless. Other things can be learned.
