WHO WE ARE:

Aviatrix® is pioneering the Cloud Native Security Fabric — the architecture the Containment Era requires. The Cloud Native Security Fabric governs every workload communication path across every cloud, every VPC, every Kubernetes cluster, and every serverless function, from a single policy plane. One rule. Universal propagation. Enforced at the workload, not at a chokepoint. Trusted by more than 500 of the world's leading enterprises. For more information, visit aviatrix.ai.

About the role:

Join the Aviatrix Customer Enablement team to shape the next generation of our Aviatrix Certified Engineer (ACE) program. We're looking for a Senior Technical Instructional Designer to join our customer facing enablement team. You'll partner with deep technical SMEs (CCIE-level networking experts) and bring the instructional design muscle — designing self-paced, on-demand, and immersive learning experiences for enterprise practitioners. Near-term, you'll co-deliver live bootcamps; longer-term, you'll own the vision for how customers learn Aviatrix.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Co-deliver multi-day ACE bootcamps and workshops alongside technical SMEs (near-term focus)
  • Architect self-paced, on-demand learning paths and an immersive curriculum for cloud networking practitioners
  • Produce how-to videos, interactive labs, and practitioner reference documentation
  • Use AI-powered tools to accelerate content creation and scale the program
  • Design measurement frameworks to track learning outcomes and program effectiveness
  • Bring modern L&D best practices (adult learning, digital enablement) to a highly technical team

Requirements

  • 8+ years in instructional design, L&D, or technical training — with meaningful time in technical/IT subject matter
  • Track record building self-paced and on-demand learning programs (not only instructor-led)
  • Hands-on experience using AI tools to create or enhance technical learning content
  • Experience producing professional video-based training (scripting, storyboarding, recording)
  • Strong live facilitation skills — comfortable co-delivering technical workshops for enterprise audiences
  • Ability to partner with SMEs to distill complex topics into clear, structured curricula
  • Experience with LMS administration, learning analytics, or certification program design
  • Customer education or external-facing enablement background
  • Based in the US (NAM region)

Nice to Have:

  • AWS Solutions Architect Associate (SAA-C03) or Azure Fundamentals — especially if paired with a track record of self-learning complex technical domains
  • Experience in networking, cloud, or cybersecurity training

TECHNICAL DOMAIN CONTEXT

You won't configure these technologies — you'll design learning around them. Conceptual familiarity with any of the following is a plus: multi-cloud networking (AWS VPC, Azure VNet), routing fundamentals (BGP, OSPF), SD-WAN, enterprise VPN, cloud security. Relevant certs in this space include CCIE, AWS ANS-C01, and Azure AZ-700. If you learn new technical domains quickly by working with experts, you'll thrive here.
