- Proven track record of systems programming in C, C++, or Rust
- Proven track record of backend software development
- Experience with SQL
- Knowledge of networks and the underlying hardware infrastructure
- Strong grasp of the English language

- Familiar with Parquet, ClickHouse, DuckDB
- Experience with database design

- Experience with some of the tools we use (GitHub, CircleCI, Jira, Confluence)
- Knowledge of MLOps practices and/or LLM architectures
